Room was clean, valet attendants provided excellent service and front desk staff were polite. Only cons, issue with toilet flushing properly and the safe had an error

    Decent value stay! Great staff!

  • Engine customer Jul 2026

Want to go back, it was such a nice stay!

There is also a 32$ valet charge fee for every night of your stay. A fact I wish was better advertised/disclosed on the listing. The valet workers themselves were kind but one of them made several comments that made me were bordering on homophobic. All in all I would not stay here again and do not recommend it at all. I am only rating it as okay because we purposely spent limited time there and only returned to sleep which helped prevent even more mishaps.

Extra charge for breakfast. Completely unreasonable Valet fee for unprotected outdoor parking.

This was a very cool hotel. When we stayed there were two parties going on and the server had gone down so we had to wait five mins to be let into our room by a staff member every time we came and went which was only two or three times. They did play music at the rooftop bar very loudly until 11pm for the party that was up there. So if you need to sleep early I don’t really recommend this place on a weekend night. We were also unable to check out the rooftop bar due to it being closed for the party. The location was also good you could walk to parks, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, etc…

The only issue that we had was the Internet service and cable went out

Love a good restored building and it was nicely done but the walls are thin so be ready to hear noises. We could hear the c-pap machine above us, a dog on our floor barking non-stop, the wedding DJ until 11pm and after the DJ the party continued in the bar. Great location with walkable food and shops. We found side street parking for free overnight.

There was no TV or phone. Could not call front desk to ask why TV not working. The World Cup tournament is on now and we could not watch any of the matches. Very disappointing. When my husband spoke to the gentleman at the front desk he was told that some accomodations would be made when we checked out. When we checked out there was nothing listed there to indicate what happened and the front desk person said she would take it up with management. Have not heard anything yet. Otherwise place was nice enough. Other than the lack of TV, the shower was not draining properly.

Also, in addition to the care we received, the staff comped our valet, which would have otherwise cost us over $100 for the four days we were there. Thank Tryp Team. We loved our experience.

Clean, comfortable, simple room. The issue was that my room faced 40th Street, and the traffic noise was very loud! Usually, I don't mind such noise if it is low, but definitely these were the thinnest windows ever!

Location. Staff was friendly as had to accompany us to rooms as key reader not working.. Tvs! Most of channels do not work. Lots of noise in street.

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

Key card not available, I had no keys for my whole stay and had to wait for someone to come let me in my room, hence did not feel safe or comfortable. Credit card system was down, they only accepted cash. Not staying here again.

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

Hotel was unable to issue key cards due to a server outage so you had to wait on your floor for someone to let you into your room. They didn’t check any credentials so truly anyone could probably get into any room. The room was damp and musty, the sliding bathroom door wouldn’t stay shut. It wasn’t made clear at the time of booking that valet parking is the only option. I would not stay here again.

I always for the most part when in town stay at the TRYP hotel. My only issue is not having a refrigerator or microwave in the rooms

    Fun

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

Staff was great. I liked the location and the ground floor. My room was nice too. Arrived only to be informed that your wifi/television/phone system was not working, hadn't been working for several days, and there was no idea when it might be fixed. SHOCKINGLY POOR for a Wyndham hotel. Cannot believe you didn't contact guests in advance to inform us of this major problem. This was a failure to provide advertised amenities. Awful.

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

It was in a quiet area, and the facilities were well kept and clean. Nothing

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

Parking was $32 per day extra, and the WiFi was put all weekend which meant that besides internet service there was no TV available.

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

Stayed 2 nights over the weekend. The TV didn't work. Went to front desk to report it when the front desk attendant looked at her co-worker and said, "He didn't tell you? Our internet is out so we have no wifi and no TV throughout the entire bldg." I glanced at the the co-worker who had checked me in moments earlier; his facial expression read "And?" He was totally unbothered by the fact that he had said nothing. The other front desk person gave me a free drink coupon for the inconvenience but the restaurant/bar was closed for a private event. It reopened an hour later once the private event was done, but when we tried to order dinner we were told they were out of food. The next night we discovered that although the hotel boasts 2 restaurants/bars, when one is open, the other is closed. The mattress was too soft and sank in the middle. Stylish and hip hotel but the inconveniences were a bit much.
