Sheraton® Suites Fort Lauderdale West

I use to come to this hotel as a kid during Christmas time back when they had the mall attached, it was always super clean, modern looking, spacious rooms & great staff. Almost 30 years later and it’s still that way! Love how the area has developed. So many restaurants in walking distance at Plantation Walk. Great location, staff is still great, rooms are still modernized and spacious. Housekeeping cleans daily, water is super hot and the air conditioning gets very cold. Would definitely stay here over and over again!

Only thing is the carpets in the room were a little tired.

Overall good experience. One of the guests left something in the room. Hoping it is handled properly by the team.

Drinks at the bar are pricier than usual for a hotel bar but otherwise great!

To make matters worse, my card was charged for a stay that had already been prepaid through Expedia. I only became aware of the charge because I received a notification from my bank. When I brought it to the attention of the front desk agent, she asked which bank I used and assured me she would contact them to have the hold released. Unfortunately, that never happened. The following day, I followed up and was then told the authorization would simply fall off within 3–5 business days. This was extremely frustrating because I was leaving for a cruise immediately after my stay, and those unnecessary funds being held on my card impacted my available spending money. This situation could have been avoided if my reservation had been properly routed through Expedia from the beginning. The one bright spot during our stay was the lady who assisted us at checkout. She was warm, friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. Her excellent customer service was appreciated and stood out after an otherwise disappointing experience.

Everything was good but the bed was not comfortable at all you could feel the lumps and dips in the mattress and the springs in the bed other then that it was good. And the breakfast was too expensive for a limited selections.

The new management team is extremely brilliant..The service levels has truly improved.

Great hotel

There was no bags any of the trash cans, there were no plates or spoon to eat. It was just a mess. Will never book there again

The property is upscale and beautiful.

Started off rocky with a not so clean room but they changed it right away and the property manager was awesome. Very willing to accommodate. Had a great stay. The surrounding area was also lovely.

The hotel was clean and in excellent shape. The room was clean and the amenities were accommodated daily.

The proximity to shops and restaurants is excellent. However, improvements needed in room. Bed lamp did not work during stay, microwave broken and only one complementary bottle of water for entire stay which was ridiculous.
