Sonesta ES Suites Fort Lauderdale Plantation

My stay was very comfortable, I liked having a kitchen which was very convenient. The location is very close to Broward Mall, a very short 5 mins ride away. Sawgrass and FLL are also close by. Property is maintained and staff were responsive. Overall a good stay.

The breakfast was great setup nice The laundry room wasn’t cleaned The young ladies that were staff were awesome and helpful. Not so much with the gentleman though.

Rooms are nice with a common living space and multi bedroom options however there is no safe in each room nor is there any phones to contact the front desk

The front desk staff could have been a bit more nice/inviting, but check in was a breeze. I am still waiting on my $100 security deposit to come back and I checked out 2 days ago so we’ll see how long that takes. The free breakfast wasn’t the best breakfast ever, but considering it was free I can’t complain! The rooms were nice and super spacious and the beds were so comfy. My only complaint would be that the rooms may not be super thoroughly cleaned. The pull out bed seemed to have crumbs on it, the chair in the living room had a child’s sock and barbie in it (and super stained cushion) and I found little scraps and thing along the wall edges that should have been vacuumed up. Overall, I’d definitely stay again if I need a hotel in the area considering how big the rooms are for the price!

Big suite style rooms. Two rooms with on suite bathrooms and a living room with a kitchenette. Great size for a family of six. Sofa bed was super old and uncomfortable, mattress was thin and unmade. Had to go to the front desk for sheets and blankets, couldn't get pillows because they didn't know where house keeping keeps the pillow cases. But it was a great location with a good breakfast. Would definitely stay there again. Shower and toilet had a separate oor from the sink/vanity area so it was easy to get ready in the mornings.

Great variety with breakfast, loved that they served chicken sausage (not a pork eater). The 2 bedroom suite was very comfy for 5 adults & 1 child

Room was clean. Staff did not greet me and was not friendly at all checking in and checking out. Did not ask how was my stay? Breakfast was edible but nothing to write home about. The worse part of all was the noise from the outside coming from the properties air conditioning unit. Our view was of the air conditioning unit and that's what we heard all day and night. We would have asked to move but was only staying 2 days and was too tired to move.

Friendly staff, comfortable room

Good location Kind of old. Chair in the hall was very dirty. Like they took it from someone's house that used it for year and stained it and put it there. Didn't like the breakfast either.

Staff was very helpful and quick to assist when I had an issue. The rooms are cozy and I love the kitchenette, I’m a little sad that my stay wasn’t really long enough to make good use of it. The rooms do have a subtle mustiness to them, as they’re not super well ventilated, especially the bathroom. But keep in mind, this is Florida—during the summer, opening the windows is not really an option in this kind of heat and humidity. That said, the property is very nice overall! Breakfast was also tasty, love the selection.

The staff is accommodating

I had a prepaid 3 day reservation. Instead of checking in at 4pm, I called the hotel directly to let them know I will check in the next morning. The clerk said OK. I arrived early morning and the manager said our reservation was cancelled due to NO SHOW. I explained that I called the day before to let them know I will be there. The Manager said there was nothing she could do. This was the hotel's error. I have the record of calling them the night before. Also, it was prepaid and they should hold the room no matter what. I will never go back to this hotel and will dispute the charges.
