Best Western Plus Plattsburgh

Room was clean but had a little bit of a musty smell (think it was the air conditioner) but wasn’t overwhelming. Bed was very comfortable & staff were awesome!! Friendly, helpful and would go out of their way to help with anything, and this was not just one person, every staff member I came into contact with was over the top friendly & helpful. I would definitely recommend. Great stay!!

We drove 2 days to get to The Best western in Plattsburgh, NY. We got to the hotel at 2 pm.and asked to check in. The clerk told us check in time was 4 pm. We told him that we had traveled from Georgia. He told us that if we wanted to check in early there would be a $25.00 fee. We have arrived at other hotels before scheduled check in times and have been accommodated. By telling us that we could check in early for a fee let us know that there were rooms ready and by arriving early the customer would be penalized. Luckily we had someplace to go for the 2 hours. I will definitely think twice before I consider Best Western again if that is how they treat travelers. The Clerck was also showed no emotions was cold and unfriendly when talking to us. He was there 2 hour later when we checked in.

The hotel staff were very nice and we loved the pool and arcade. The workout room smelled very strongly of mold, so it was impossible to workout. Breakfast offered a variety of foods, but the eggs were not edible, possible they were processed? Overall, the hotel needs updating and cleaning.

The breakfast option 'grab and go'! The aircon unit was a bit noisy and the the light entering the room was not working. Everything else was in order.

This property was clean, staff was friendly & helpful, and it had all the amenities we needed. The morning breakfast buffet had hot options and pancake station. We really enjoyed our stay!

It has been awhile since I had an opportunity to stay at BW in Plattsburgh but it is by far a well maintained hotel. Staff are all very helpful and polite.

Jacuzzi in the room The toilet was disgusting, for being a suite i was shocked at the filth. The rest was okay, a weird layout for a room, but it was a very comfy bed. It was a nice night out, but for the price and cleanliness I'll probably go to microtel next time.

There were cobwebs above our bed and peanuts in the sofa! 🙄

Great experience as always

This place is a maze of hallways you can get lost easily. Breakfast was average and not a stand out since other hotels offer the same. Beats paying $30-40 eating breakfast out somewhere. Bathroom is small. Room is average. With all that said i will stay again since it's one of the better hotels in the area.

pool it was not that clean

I was heading into back surgery 2 days after our stay so me and the wife decided to just get away for an evening . My condition made it difficult to do anything really but the staff were there to place me in a closer room , closest to the pool plus parking in a special place. They went above and beyond. The beds could be upgraded a bit but overall a great experience

Great budget stay for a family

Breakfast was really decent.

The room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable and pillows were perfect. The continental breakfast was wonderful. They even had some gluten-free items if you ask. Lots of food to choose from.

Stay here all the time for kids sport tournaments. Kids have a great time while parents visit
