Very pleasant stay

As of most of these companies hotels, it was newer well-maintained. The rooms are nice. It’s a clean facility for a quick stay overnight if you’re going to a convention or just a quick through the town. Staff was very pleasant. Breakfast was great.

Friendly staff and excellent location with great views. Clean room and comfortable beds plus complimentary breakfast was delicious. Major construction work was ongoing but did not impact our stay.

It was a great location, beautiful setting on a hill. The bed was comfortable and the sofa in the room was a plus. If I had known it was under major construction I would never have stayed there. The front desk was inconveniently located far from the parking lot. The wind howled all night through the poorly sealed windows. I felt like I was in a 17th century castle. Breakfast was mediocre. The shower was low pressure. No coffee pot in the room. “You can go to the desk and request one”. Well, when I was awake at 2 am due to the howling wind, I would have liked to have a cup of tea. But couldn’t.

Hotel was clean, currently being updated, and comfortable rooms.

As of April 2026 the hotel is under significant construction. There is little parking. There is no lobby. Hallways consist of plywood and plastic sheeting. There are no amenities. None of this information was offered upon registration. We paid $250 for a *mostly* clean room and nothing else. Very disappointed.

Wasn't expecting a remodel project but it worked out great we got a new room!

Good breakfast, friendly staff.
-
The first floor was under renovation and closed off the pool and other advertised amenities. I can deal with construction mess but I expect an adjustment in the price to reflect the true experience.

The room was very clean, the staff was helpful. It was a shame that the lobby was being renovated while we had a stay there. Thankfully the construction wasn’t there during the evening but I wish we were notified of the construction beforehand or else we would’ve planned a stay elsewhere.
-
Communication sucked. We weren’t notified of major maintenance they were having done therefore we had to go across streets and stuff to enjoy the water. It wasn’t a relaxing weekend it’s was much more of a hassle
-
Hotel is undergoing renovations but it didn't affect the room or service The 24 hour coffee is a fantastic idea and it was excellent coffee
-
Hotel is under construction so there was no pool & no gym available as advertised. Very disappointed.

I booked through Expedia. They did not let me know of the renovations. I would have booked a different hotel. . IMO they should close the hotel down during renovations.
-
Hotel was under renovation. Was not posted on line. No hot water, no lobby and had to check-in in the hallway and the room was at the end of a hallway by the door that was being used for check in. When I asked to move rooms, the staff said no. I would stay away from this hotel u til renovations are done e at the end of the summer.

Property is under construction, so it was a mess. I wish I’d known before booking. We got in late, and there was a loud knock on our door at 9am, even though checkout isn’t until noon… no announcement of housekeeping or anything, just an “oh sorry, thought you left already”. It was weird. There was also some random hairs in the tub, which made us concerned about cleanliness. The breakfast buffet was pretty sad, no hot water left for tea, no gluten free options other than yogurt and a banana, no attendant to help. The room itself was newly appointed, but the gaps in the door meant we heard everything in the hallway, and they heard everything in our room.

We booked this hotel. And when we arrived, the room wasn't ready. It took us to wait. With long drive and with little kids. It's hard for us to wait.
-
I booked the hotel, the Expedia site said there was a pool and hot tub, there was not. The hotel was under construction. We had to walk to the back of the hotel to check in, the breakfast was terrible

Would have been nice to know in advance the building was being remodeled. No access to gym or pool, plus parking lot was full of construction equipment, so limited parking. No advance warning. Booked ~4 weeks before stay, no prior acknowledgment of construction, even at check in.
