Best Western Plus Pontoon Beach

As soon as we got to the 2nd floor it smelled like an apartment building and the odor from the unit kitchens made its way to the hallway but there are no kitchens in this building. We opened our room and the transition of the carpet between the hallway and the room was missing and carpet in that area was all torn up which was a trip hazard. The room had the same smell as the hallway and the bedding look like it was not washed very well and not pressed, very wrinkled. I can't believe they assigned this room that was obviously damaged. I'm glad they didn't have any other rooms available because we left and booked a much nicer place.

Good stay for a week, convenient and good places to eat nearby

Easy to get to and from Worldwide Technology Speedway. Several late night eating options nearby. The New Rosati’s Pizza just up the road was amazing! This is my second stay at this hotel and we will be back next year.

Nice hotel, we made reservations the night of the stay. It was convenient, clean, the staff was nice. I would definitely stay there again.

Check in took significantly longer than it should have and I was not impressed with the staff person I was working with. I will not be back. I’d rather pay for a nicer, cleaner better experience.

The location was good Some of the staff was rude, beds felt like sleeping on a box, elevator was broken so couldn't get to handy cap room on the 2nd and 3rd floor. So couldn't take a shower for the 2 nights my family and I stayed there. Woke up with ants in our room. Swimming pool was way to blue like those toilet bowls cleaner. My 10 yr old found 3 big clumbs of black hair in the pool and you could see the oils and dead skin flakes on top. No towels in pool area either. Cost way over 400 to stay there. 6 months earlier we were 100 less and there was no problem with it. Whatever happened in the last 6 months needs replaced. I'll never stay there again.

Per the previous reviews expected a better breakfast but it was not, standard breakfast. Grits instead of gravy for the biscuit. No flavor creamer. Check in took forever! Girl said my online booking status was saying card declined but it wasn’t so she had to call someone.

All night long all we hears was the squeaky door to the stairs opening and then slamming shut. I barely got any sleep due to the noise. Why put someone right next the stairs when the elevators are out and that area will be heavy traffic!

Location Elevator broken for months, spider infestation in room, unclean rooms, had to take 3rd floor room and walk up due to being told 1st floor closed and 2nd floor is for “handicapped”

E comforter had a big dirt stain on it, poorly maintained property.

Elevator was not working. Had to use the stairs which were dirty. Two men smoking outside the stairwell door. Wanted me to let them in. I did not. Creepy. No milk available for children.

You should let your guests know ahead of check in that the elevator doesn't work
