La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Pontoon Beach

The room was clean, the pool and fitness room were nice after long day on road. The breakfast was good, some hot protein options. The area had the things we needed and it kept us out of St. Louis proper. Probably won’t be your best la Quinta experience but we’ve learned when traveling through/near big cities need to bump up the budget a bit to have decent room in seemingly safe area. Little things like fitness room water dispenser empty and rubbery tater tots were disappointing but not huge deal in scheme of things.

Easy to get to This was one of the worst places I have ever stayed. Dirty beds, towels, floors. Receptionist that checked me in was great but all other staff was terrible.

This hotel was ok. I probably won't book again.

The first room we were put into smelled horrible. Someone was cooking in the room which smelled like curry. The 2nd room was much better. The 6am breakfast was a joke. We were there when it opened and the food was Lukewarm and nobody around to replenish. Left with coffee and was disappointed with this hotel.

The cleanliness is terrible; the beds smell bad, and the sheets aren't changed. There was a lot of dust; basically, everything is dirty. I recommend changing the cleaning staff—they aren't doing their job.

fire alarms went off at 4am . called down to front desk they hung up on us . in the morning i talked to manager and he more or less said i should be happy they had a fire alarm

It is very nice! Close to the concert I was going to. Nice and clean rooms. Friendly staff!

Me and my kids came here for a quick stay because they are working on my apartment. I'll definitely be coming back

Rooms were unclean. Breakfast had microscopic bug crawling across plate. Overall would never stay again with issues encountered.

Design of shower was not good. Door opened against the faucet so you could not turn it on without getting in and had to shut door to turn faucet on and get soaked with cold water. Shower door would not shut tight

Breakfast was not good. Toilet was set into the drywall. Pretty run down

Arrival the hotel stunk really bad. We got and took our stuff in. I had made prior accommodations with the hotel that they agreed to via email but they did not want to accommodate when I got there. So I go up to the second floor where we were not supposed to stay and I put my suitcase down and we leave the room. It stinks. It was not clean. The bathroom was filthy again the hotel manager/Owner was not willing to accommodate or move anybody I come back to the hotel that evening take a shower a roach crawled out of the shower while we were showering on both me and my son two different occasions I had to put a towel at the door in the bathroom to make sure that no bugs crawled into my room while I was sleeping. This hotel is absolutely disgusting. Just close it
