Clarion Pointe South Portland

Hotel is run down and needs remodeling. Someone needs to go through the rooms and make repairs. Breakfast was terrible.

Room was dirty meaning dust on surfaces. Debris on floor. Needs maintenance on walls. Breakfast was ok. Room too small for everyone to sit. Staff were friendly. Parking was fine and bed was comfortable. Shower was hot. Place was close to interstate and extremely noisy inside and from outside all hours. Bathroom fan rattled and freezer tray was hanging causing a leak which we cleaned up.

Also, why spend the money on the room having 2 touch mirrors when the bathroom door is the loudest squeaking door I’ve ever heard in my life? You could pop the spike out of the hinges one at a time and put some Vaseline on them so easily. But no, 2 smart mirrors… are you all crazy? I’m willing to bet hard money the hotel will make ZERO effort to fix the crib error, leaving parents to either walk away from their deposit or risk their baby falling out of their bed during the night. Disgraceful business practice.

Great proximity to Portland Airport. The rooms smelled a little musty. Staff was very helpful.

Could be better: The shampoo in shower was completely empty, and the front desk would not answer the phone after several calls. Went to the breakfast room towards the very end just to grab a coffee and it was like a bomb went off. Obviously there is no attendant. It looked like WW3. The hotel could use some minor repair maintenance, hallways and walls etc., and out my window was a nice view of a big garbage pile. However, it was still ok.

It was fine, it served our purpose.

Room wasn’t the cleanest- a lot of cob webs and crumbs

Rooms were extremely unclean. Mold in bathrooms, sticky floors, unknown substances on the walls, etc. Would not recommend staying here.

Everything was very nice clean very comfortable love having the two sinks one in the bathroom and one in the adjoining area

Excellent breakfast was provided. Room was clean and bed comfy. Very convenient to airport for early morning flight.

This place was dirty, old, falling apart and unsafe. When I was checking in two other families came back saying they were given keys to someone else’s room this scared me so when I went to my room I kept the dead bolt locked at all times at midnight on my first night someone tried to key into my room. I went to the front desk to tell them about the issue I’m traveling with my 4 year old alone this is a major safety concern all she did was re check us in no apology no sense of urgency nothing. The staff acted inconvenienced when ever I interacted with them. The room was dirty the sheets were stained as well as the bedspread there were flys in the rooms and house keeping didn’t come once in my four day stay. The pool was supposed to be heated it wasn’t. The carpets were all ripped up the furniture all falling apart. I do not recommend staying here.

Property has what you need but it’s dirty.

Awesome hotel

Our TV didn’t work, they tried to fix it, and offered another room. We declined the offer as we were settled for the night. No discount was offered. The breakfast food was not acceptable and we drove to another place to have a decent breakfast. The TV area had a TV blaring so if you are looking for a quiet breakfast, this is not the place. Overall not a good experience.
