The room we had was under construction and pretty rundown and also lights in the appliances on the walls which seemed like cameras, not positive but now I carry a camera detector bc of this experience

This place started off great. The lobby looked great and the staff was amazing. Very welcoming. Especially since the parking lot and trees are quite overgrown and driving in felt a bit like an abandoned place. Our room had an odor, the carpet was so questionable that I was afraid to find out how dirty it was. We were there for a very quick overnight so we didn't need much more than beds and a door, but it still didn't meet the mark. Breakfast the next morning was so embarrassing. There was a pot of oatmeal but most of it was in the trash from people who tried to take some, but threw out after trying it. Otherwise there was a very stale English muffin selection but no butter or peanut butter or anything. Then yogurt, milk and small containers of cereal. A large percentage of the counters were empty where electrical outlets were, so it looked like maybe it was set up for a full spread, but what was there was so embarrassing. Full grown men were coming into the dining area and getting angry. I'm not sure how many guests were there that morning, but when I came down at 645, there was enough "food" out for maybe 6 or 7 people, so even the quantity offered was confusing. Would not book again

I was worried based on reviews to stay here but it was really nice and clean. It did look like it was being renovated in areas. Our room was great. The pool area was out dated but functioning well.

Awesome place to stay

First, it's clear they are remodeling and that it's overdue. The place was cleaned but dated. There were things like stained carpet, pool tiles falling down, hot tub pump broken with sign that made it clear it won't be fixed anytime soon, sad mattress. They advertised a included breakfast and the person at check in stated it would be avilable the next morning and pointed to the spot. The next moring we found oatmeal and toast and nothing else. When we asked at the desk about the limited food we were told there hadn't been a shipment in weeks. This would have been really helpful to know at check in.

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was fine for an older hotel. If you are sensitive to the smell of cleaner, the rooms might bother you, but cleaner smell is better than others for sure. In the morning, the lobby floors were wet, they did give warnings about it but did not know why this occurred. It was raining outside though and the inside of the lobby windows were wet as well. The ‘included breakfast’ was toast or English muffins with jam, oatmeal with toppings and canned fruit cocktail. There was also coffee and juice. The woman at the front desk said ‘their truck did not arrive’ and also announced if you were a member she was offering 2000 points. I’m not sure how the morning situation was only an issue for members. We have vowed not to return, renovation or not.

Great location

The room was ok. Dated and had problems like a hole where the thermostat used to be. The A/C didn’t really work, and the room felt damp. The hallway was “being repaired”, but it was gross. Room numbers leaned against the wall instead of being on the doors. The carpets were littered with trash and plaster or something from the walls. In the floor in front of my room were dirty rags just sitting. I arrived late due to a late flight, and was afraid I’d checked into a very bad hotel. It looked like the back rooms. The breakfast was not very good. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, but the building was pretty awful. Also, other guests were hanging out in their room with the door wide open while in underwear. It made my daughter and I nervous. We heard every sound due to a huge space between the bottom of the room door and the floor. I would not recommend this place.

The room itself was not very clean and with the building under construction it felt poorly kept. When we attended breakfast the first day nothing was being cleaned and trash was piled up, on the second day they stopped serving food an hour and a half before it was supposed to end. The pool area was very dirty and the hot tub was broken making it feel pointless to enter the space. When checking in the staff on duty made us wait about 20-30 minutes before checking in because he was getting off his shift. Overall hope that the renovation cleans up not just the appearance but overall quality of the establishment, especially for how much we paid for the room.

In the mean time things will be under construction Stay in the front it is much quieter than the back that borders the turnpike

Twin Queen Or king And we 2 doubles. Should have been queen not very happy. Hair on the bathroom floor, mirror filthy. Housekeeping only removed bathroom trash and not the main room trash. Pool area no bathrooms working and hot not working. I realize that they are under construction so I will give them grace. But the towel I left on the side of the pool to sit was Still there two days later. Public bathroom in lobby are did. It latched it lock. Halls were dirty. Overall staff was nice But feel like false advertising on the double beds. Not happy at all would not recommend until they are finished rehabbing

Hotel is pretty beat up. Floors and all furniture (couch, lounge chair, office chair, etc) were pretty well stained and felt greasy. The hotel is definitely in need of an update for this price point.
-
The hotel is in the process of updating the hallways which was fine. However, it’s the rooms that need a refresh, especially the bathrooms.
-
We only stayed for one night. The staff was very pleasant and our room was very clean.
-
Building under remodeling. Hallways were a mess. Room are old and only cleaned every third day. Our room door had settled and very hard to latch bolt lock.

The woman at the front desk with the great afro was so amazing - you can tell she loves her job. The women cleaning the rooms in the morning also appeared to love their jobs. The hotel is under renovation - which also means the pool area - no bubbles in the hot tub, but still hot! The breakfast, however, was lacking. There were two boxed cereals, older oatmeal, bread, and apples. There must usually be more since there was syrup, a spot that said "English muffins", and room for more cereals, bagels, etc. The hotel will look great once renovations are finished; however, it really didn't detract from the hotel's comfort. The bed was great, the shower was hot, the bathroom was clean, the hot tub was hot, and the pool was not cold nor hot - a good temp.
-
The place is ok for the price. “Breakfast@ was sad. A slight order through the halls. Maybe because of all the painting. Carpet in the room made my white socks filthy. Quiet area! Bed was ok. Close to highways. Again, you get what you pay for!

Under renovation

The room was fine. It definitely could have been cleaner. The floor needed to be vacuumed. The bathroom was nice and I liked how the toiletries were an actual name brand. Other than that, there is not much to recommend this hotel. The pool and hot tub were depressing. The water seemed clean but the space was not. Missing wall tiles, rest spots. And there was some ventilation system that was so deafeningly loud that I couldn’t stand it after about 3 minutes. The included breakfast was sarcastically awful. Like they shouldn’t even bother. Then people wouldn’t be disappointed .

They are the middle of renovations so I get it but the reason we booked this one was for the hot tub and the hot and pool were not available. Also no hot breakfast when there was supposed to be. We have stayed here before and it was way better. The staff however was fantastic.
