Tru by Hilton Portland Airport Area

Friendly staff. Basic hotel but clean and comfortable.

Excellent property not too far from Downtown Portland, 10 min drive. Great breakfast, comfortable bed and room. The staff gave us a handicapped room as my wife recently broke her ankle after we booked this trip. No extra charge and no problem switching rooms, it was greatly appreciated!

The breakfast was not well managed and below average. Serving spoons were dirty.

Great

Room was very clean and well maintained. The only negative was that the body wash dispenser was empty in bathroom, which I let them know upon checkout. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had in a hotel. We have stayed here twice and will definitely stay again. It is very close to the airport and shopping as well.

This property was better than we had hoped for! It was very well maintained and clean. Staff was friendly, helpful, and always available. Breakfast was great with a wonderful assortment to choose from while eating in a very modern atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

We also love the breakfasts!

Great place. I have stayed at different Tru by Hilton locations, and it never disappoints.

The desk clerk was excellent.

Clean and comfortable. Just a few miles from the airport. Good breakfast.

Staff was very pleasant. Appreciate their understanding with regards to parking of motorcycle for security.

Great stay

Convenient location, comfortable room, pretty good breakfast

We figured we were only going to be here for less than 12 hours for an early morning flight, so it would be fine. Wrong. When we arrived at 8:30pm the desk appeared unmanned, but there was a lady sitting in a dark corner of the room. She came over and we checked in and gave her our early morning flight time to arrange for the shuttle. Probably the worst sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel and we travel often. The beds are not comfortable and the pillows are terrible. There were no extra pillows in the room, so you’ll have to make do with the 2 flat pillows you each get. The chairs in the lobby are stained and gross. The tables were dirty despite coming down at 4:30 am to catch our shuttle. The front desk clerk in the morning said they didn’t have anyone down for the shuttle and then kind of shrugged it off like it didn’t need to be rectified. We had to actually ask what we were supposed to do and then they pulled out the book and were like “I can get you on the next shuttle at 4:40.” Which was, thankfully, the one we were signed up for. Nothing like a good panic attack to jump start your day. We won’t be staying here again.

I will never stay at any of these hotels. Airc air conditioning is not good at all. Chemical smell in elevators, no closet. I want my money back at least 70%.

Loved the airport shuttle and the room was perfect.

Very clean rooms and very helpful staff. A great experience.
