Best Western Merry Manor Inn

This Best Western needs an update for sure.

The check in process was easy and staff was friendly. The outdoor pool was amazing, as was the breakfast! Some maintenance issues definitely detract from the experience -- bubbling wallpaper on the walls, rusty tub, etc. The layout of the hotel is a little strange as well. Overall, a good experience, though.

I don’t expect a fabulous breakfast as a free amenity, but a lack of dairy free options and a small crowded breakfast area diminished the overall experience and quality. The pool was very nice, but kind of crowded during a hot week. The hot tub looked good, but was more warm than hot and the crowded area kept me away. Not wanting to take a lukewarm bath with strangers is on me, not the hotel, but one person lace I didn’t feel that I got all that I hoped for. Overall a good stay, beds were comfortable and plenty of space in the room for us but fell a bit short of expectations.

We only spent a night but the staff was great at check in and breakfast and the room was clean. The breakfast was nice.

Fantastic hotel! Independently owned by Lafayette hotels. Absolutely amazing. Clean, comfortable, roomy. Super place. Will definitely be back!!

I checked in and 5 min later checked out. The hotel had an old musty smell it was not clean. I went to the desk they said they would refund me and then denied the refund to Expedia so I lost the money.

good location, kind, clean and tidy

The breakfast bar is outstanding! Carpet and smell in the outdated room-- cobwebs on the windows in the stairwell. Didn't feel good about any of it until the breakfast.

Staff was courteous and everything was fine overall. Hotel is dated and worn. Feels like it was last renovated in the 90s and maintained to the most basic acceptable level. It was clean, but the worn, dated feel of everything made it feel not great.

I chose this place because it said it had a hot tub and a heated pool. We were there on a 68 degree lightly raining day. There was 1 hot jetted tub. There was another that tub that was more of a baby pool that was cold. The regular pool did not feel very warm to me so I couldn't go in it. My 21 year old son said he felt it was a little warm. I have been in heated pools in Canada where I swam comfortably in below zero temperatures, but I wasn't able to get in this heated pool in 68 degree weather. So I feel like the heated pool could be better. The breakfast selections were good, but it was too cramped and not enough room for people to eat. The beds were comfortable, but the hotel really needs some updating in my opinion.

Definitely old, but well maintained. Room was clean, bathroom was clean, pool was clean. Breakfast was great. Staff was very kind. Doesn't get much better for the price!

Our room was excellent. Nice and clean, great tv, desk, lounge chair, coffee and coffee maker, hair dryer and the most comfortable beds you could ever ask for. Quite, outdoor pool with 2 indoor hot tubs built in, one had a waterfall and handicapped lift chair. Would recommend staying here.

Breakfast was well stocked and good and the shower was very powerful

Every team member that we encountered were friendly and professional. The lobby was welcoming and clean, as was the guestroom. Two suggestions I would offer would be - 1. Room darkening shades would be helpful. And 2. Our guestroom door could use some attention, as it was hard to close securely. But I would highly recommend this hotel.

Staff were really great. Very helpful and accommodating. The pool was very fun. The room was great! The ac needed some maintenance, a little loud, but honestly everything was better than expected. Thank you!!

Really love this place, if you have a question the answer it. If you wanted to use anything that was locked up staff stopped what they were doing to open anything or turn on anything! Rooms were amazing bed comfy! Coming back to this place soon :)
