Great hotel very close to airport

We always stay here when we are in Portland visiting family. A friendly welcoming and fun place. Great bar, the bartender remembered me from 6 months ago. Great breakfast. Don’t miss the chef made omelettes, wow delicious. The lobby is comfortable and a great place to hang out.

The breakfast was outstanding! The shower shampoo dispenser was empty

The gym was great. The breakfast buffet was great (except it was supposed to be open until 10:30 and there was no omelet station open at 9am when I went). Overall the place could be beautiful but it was poorly maintained. The windows had prints all over them in our room and on the campus. The gym equipment was the same. A lot of the surfaces and doors looked dingy and unkept as well.

Room is clean and spacious. Staff were amazing, really attentive.

We had room at the end of the hall and it was very quiet. Front desk staff was kind. There was no door separating the bathroom from the bedroom.

I was annoyed at check in when they said there was a parking fee ($13/night, but still- annoying and unexpected). The “happy hour” was not as great as others we had had at the same hotel chain. The room was lovely and clean and the breakfast was EXCELLENT!

The staff were top-tier, from the front desk to the restaurant team. Everyone was friendly and incredibly helpful. The room was clean and well maintained when I arrived; however, it was disappointing that it wasn’t cleaned or serviced after two nights of my stay. Breakfast was very good for a buffet, with everything hot and of great quality. The other downside was the hotel’s location—I wish it had been closer to downtown Portland, as I wasn’t aware when booking that it was near the airport.

The snacks and free drink in the evenings was a nice touch! Everything was very fresh. They also have free coffee early in the mornings. I really appreciated that service. The food at their restaurant was also very delicious.

The staff was very nice and helpful, the breakfast was great, and the room was spacious and clean. The hotel is also very close to the airport, which was great for us.

We were right across the street to the rental car drop off. The planes never were heard from our room on second floor. They really take off or arrive close to the hotel. Rooms were large and very nice. The breakfast was delicious even had a chef to make yummy omelets.

Excellent. Nicest hotel I stayed at during my 9-day Maine visit. Friendly staff. Lovely, spacious room. Bar & eating area pleasant. Two free drinks on arrival. Plenty of parking. Right next to the airport. Minutes to car rental return at airport.

Embassy Suites always deliver and the Portland, Me location was a top 5 visit. Great facility, clean, all staff were super nice and helpful and the food breakfast and dinner was awesome! We had trouble finding a hotel, and almost didn’t take this location due to the airport. Great location and we never heard anything, not even the jets at the airport. So glad we stayed with Embassy Suites, we’d stay here again while in Portland, ME.

Loved this property! Right next door to the airport, but hardly ever heard the planes. The hotel is beautiful, the staff friendly, courteous and helpful. The breakfast and manager reception was top notch. They have an airport screen in the lobby showing real time arrivals and departures. Definitely would stay again!
