Comfort Suites Portland Southwest

Convenient location near I-5. Room was clean but the facility showed signs of age (peeling wallpaper) Bathroom sink had low pressure but shower was good. A/C worked well but the mattress was just ok. Really liked the breakfast and the price was good. Overall a good place to stay on a budget.

The fitness room very small very dark with a weight holding the door open. Hotel smelt like smoke and made my throat hurt almost instantly. The room was spacious but black mold on the caulking by the sink and in the bathtub. Customer service was horrible. The fire extinguisher in the hallway hasn’t been checked since Feb of 2025. Did not feel comfortable at all in this hotel. The only good thing about this hotel was seeing people at breakfast time and made me feel so much better. But will never book here again.

The rooms were spacious and the AC worked great.

Well-kept easily accessed off main interstate. Staff were friendly and helpful - rooms were comfortable and clean.

The staff was courteous and the property was clean. The wallpaper was peeling and the water pressure was terribly weak. The beds were comfortable. The rooms had enough space for the furniture and there were enough electric oytlets. Parking was easy. The free breakfast was great!

Rooms were clean. Memory foam mattresses would be a great improvement. My grandsons said the pool was cold.

Hotel was clean, and there was plenty of parking. Hot tub did not work, and room could be improved. The beds were hard, the A/C made weird noises and wallpaper was peeling off on the bathroom. Ok for one night, but definitely not coming back.

The room was very clean spacious had everything we needed it was a very pleasant surprise.

Rooms where not properly cleaned. We found adult toys in the beds.

The location is perfect. The rooms are large, comfortable and quiet with good amenities. The afternoon/evening desk clerk was less than helpful. Barely spoke and seemed remote. The weekend person overseeing the contentinal breakfast allowed coffee, waffles, and other staples to run out 30-45 minutes before breakfast ended. I believe in supporting family, but the family has to support you back. Some staff a re great while others require some attention by the owner/management. Physically, the property needs s ome attention. It is showing some signs of wear and tear. The plumbing is a crap shoot depending on the room choice. The property has noticeably gone downhill over the past couple of years.
