I read the reviews before booking and thought the motel was redone it wasn't a normal motor lodge don't get to excited about going nothing specoal.

Room was cozy, and receptionist working when I checked in was very helpful.

At first I was a little hesitant checking in I thought I made a huge mistake just because it said motor Lodge but I was mistaken this place was excellent as far as the room customer service the amenities the rules as far as being quiet was amazing I strongly suggest if you're traveling through Taos. To stop and stay here I enjoyed my stay the room was huge I love the space and the microwave refrigerator in the room. I could give him more than five stars I would. Everything was clean the room exterior was very kept up loved the fact didn't have to carry a card or a key to get into room. Thank you again I will be back to visit.

We had to stay in a Pod, they are nice but only for 1 person, not 2 like it says.

We enjoyed our 1-night stay at his motor lodge. There were 4 in our party. We did not use the small kitchen area. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was small, but clean. They are remodeling so the exterior is a bit of disarray. This motor lodge is located toward the end of the town so there aren't many walkable restaurants. The parking lot was small, and we had a U-Haul trailer, so parking was a bit of a challenge. The staff was very friendly and overall, we enjoyed our stay.

The staff was lovely. Property was under construction so more improvements to come, but very comfortable, clean and convenient.

Rooms are way better than outside of property. Lobby was under construction. Sheets were the best I've slept on. Great rooms

I booked a reservation online per the photographs on the website. The hotel is undergoing renovations. The room we were assigned was terrible, smelled and I knew I couldn’t spend the night. I went back to the office and was reassigned another room. Much better but won’t be back. To be fair my husband thought it was ok. I’ll be looking for something different.

This is a Motel which I chose based on extremely good price as I only expected to sleep and depart first thing in the morning. However, it has flair and was pleasantly appointed. Great bargain for the location close to town, safety, cleanliness and some elements of the local architecture.

The hotel is cute. There needs to be more lighting in the room. I also needed some ice, but had to go to another property to retrieve it. The directions of the staff gave me were not very good.
