Super 8 by Wyndham Taos

The room was clean and all the facilities worked. There was maid service every other day. The included breakfast was pretty standard but decent. No frills, but a good place to stay for the money.

Very clean, helpful and friendly staff. Ample parking. Overall - great, simple, and affordable place to stay.

Older hotel but clean and that’s important. Staff was friendly - especially the girl that checked us in- but housekeeping was in the hallway at 5:45 AM making way too much noise. Very loud. Breakfast was basic, waffles, hardboiled eggs etc. On the edge of town so really chill neighborhood. Would stay again but would request a room away from housekeeping headquarters.

It was worst, have to tell alot but no space. As I have complaint about the water issue which was whitish foggy water and after 10-15 seconds it was transparent but you can still see few black particles in that. The manager did nothing to fix the issue and kept on saying he is drinking same water nothing happens and whole taos is getting same water. He told me, he even called the taos municipal corporation and everywhere the same water but he actually lied because I checked in three different place everywhere the water was clean except this place. And after cross checking few places when I told him. He said this is most dirtiest water we have. You can leave the hotel now and go somewhere else that’s how he talked. And kept on forcing me to tell what should they do. I mean he is the manger he should know what he should do to fix the issue just spoiled my whole day and mood also. He said to me you can do anything you want nothing will happen. I put the review and After that in night time I received the call from the hotel owner that I talked with front desk girl rudely so he threatened to leave hotel at night time just tried to play women victim card. When I said I would not until and unless you refund and find me an accommodation I am not going anywhere. Because this is illegal to ask a customer to leave without any reason and the funny part is I have not talked with the girl, I just asked her to call the manger. Overall pathetic.

The views

Complaints I have is that the room could have been cleaned better. The floors were gritty and needed vacuuming. As for the noise, the slamming of doors all throughout the night was aggravating.

The rooms were clean but small. It smelled of different foods there was a contriction crew there think they were cooking in rooms. There was a nice flindian food truck outside. It wa ls quit and staff was friendly.

Henry and his staff treated me like a king always helping with any information about Taos and surrounding areas!

Worst stay I ever had! Bad smell across property!

Bad experience! Arrived in Tao, first impression such a nice city. Outside hotel does not look bad. The room they gave to me is terrible. They didn’t replace bedsheets. It has the smell of a man who didnt shower. Terrible! Staffs didnt come and replace it until almost an hour later I had to go out and reminded them again then they tell their staff to replace. I have been driving for 10 hours long and just need a clean bed to stay and sleep right away. But they failed at the cleanliness. Also cover sheet is stained as well. I tooked picture and showed them. I m not happy for what I paid and get back a dirty bed hotel.

Parking was easy and secure air conditioning was excellent

Building was kind if old there were bugs around window. Floor was making quicky sound even when walking.

The sink is leaking, difficult to sleep when light keeps flashing from the ceiling, tissue box empty and blow dryer not working. With that said, I appreciate the shower head…water pressure was great.

There was no freezer compartment in the refrigerator

Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing. It showed noticeable wear, including a leather couch with worn spots and stains, and several other areas that could use updating. It also wasn’t as clean or well maintained as we expected. The room was located next to the lobby, stairwell, and ice machine, so there was quite a bit of noise throughout our stay. The bed was also very firm and not particularly comfortable. The staff was friendly, but the condition and location of the room made our stay less enjoyable than we had hoped.
