Excellent choice. Great room, three! chairs, good meal in bar, very convenient. Only bummer was power failure off-site that took out lots of Taos. Can’t blame hotel for that.

This is a motel not hotel. Our room was a hike from main lobby. We were in building 4. Highly recommend Taos Java. The best coffee and service. It's across from hotel. Mattress was comfy.

Loved the lounge, bar and dining area!! So nice. Warm beautiful pool, but be sure to leave fan off if not hot, it’s loud and makes the area cold. The staff turned it off. Breakfast dining staff so so nice. Would have given 5 stars but pool area not kept great.

First room heat did not work. Repair person was prompt and qualified but couldn’t resolve. When moved the second room toilet had a broken toilet handle. Can’t believe the cleaning staff didn’t report it or their report was ignored.

Always so good to come back to the Don Fernando!!! It feels like home. Exceptionally beautiful, well kept grounds, good food, cocktails but above all the staff is amazing. Not only are they helpful but personal. Your front desk girl Alisha is one of a kind!!! And now a forever friend. The ADA room was wonderful, clean and the shower is so convenient. And the pricing fabulous. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Not a thing !!!

This room is getting very worn out and not being maintained. Holes in the lamp shade. Noticable dog pee spot in the carpet a well as other brown soiled spots. Roller Paint splatter on the furniture that comes from not covering the furniture before painting. The mattress was one of the cheap 11" mattresses and very matted down.

The grounds were very well kept, there was peeling paint on some of the fixtures but over all the room was clean. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet. The restaurant on site was terrible the staff was great. Friendly and attentive but the food was not what we would expect for the $100 that we paid. Comfortable stay beautiful decor. Starting to look run down but would stay again just not go in to the restaurant to eat.

Shower water pressure was decent. Dated. Old, stained furniture and walls.

The only thing that was a little sketchy was the glass door in the shower was affixed to the wall properly. We reported it to the housekeeper. The fridge was set to super cold and froze some of our items. We pulled it out and set it to an appropriate cooling temperature. The floor lamp in our room was missing a light bulb, but that was easy to remedy as well. We would stay there again.

Very friendly staff.The decorations in the main lobby are on point with the southwestern decor,very nice. My only complain is that the menu for dinner is very limited.
