A lovely "boutique" hotel. The hotel is an older, but well-maintained building, with a classy vibe. We had a lovely room that was clean and cool. The thick adobe walls and tiled floor kept the room cool in spite of the high temperatures outside. Air conditioning was available but wasn't necessary. The room had comfortable beds with nice sheets and comfortable pillows and had a large en-suite bathroom that included a huge jacuzzi tub and large walk-in shower, together with twin sinks. The toilet was situated in a rather small and tight room in the bathroom area. Situated off the main road in Toas, the hotel was in a quiet area, but close enough for easy access to the town. Parking was available in an area shaded by some large, old trees and there seemed to be sufficient room, as the hotel was small enough that there weren't that many guests. Breakfast was good with nice coffee, fruit, yoghurt, juice and some delicious quiche and pastries. The staff were friendly and helpful, though check-in and check-out wasn't as easy as in some larger chain hotels, as you ahd to wait for someone to appear. We were only provided one key for the room, though it would have been nice to have two. I would definitely recommend the hotel and would go back again.

This is such a lovely place to stay in Taos set in a beautiful quiet neighborhood and absolutely adorable rooms surrounded by courtyards with flowers. We stayed in The Matriarch suite for our 20th anniversary with a lovely library for readers, frig for our drinks, and a dreamy comfy bed and bathroom! We hope to be back! ❤️

We loved the Matriarch room. Beautiful property. For some reasons, no one set up the breakfast for two of our three mornings. We had to change our plans and pay for breakfast off property. It is within walking distance of the shops. This place is a good option in Taos.

The setting was quiet and the flower garden was beautiful. The breakfast was good and fresh. However, the grounds were not swept, the door to the room was dirty, there was no central AC - just a noisy portable AC, and when the innkeeper left in the late afternoon, we were told to use a pass code to enter the registration area to get ice. The pass code didn't work for us.

The room and the property was amazing, but I did not like the lack of staff onsite to help with check in and other needs.

Breakfast was wonderful and staff was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. Very safe property.

Staff was excellent, property was very clean and the room was very comfortable and relaxing. The included breakfast was tasty and served at a large table where the guests could interact with each other. It has kind of a B&B feel to it…very nice.

The property is well located with a lot of potential. No staff, no service, we found out in the morning that the main lobby was closed for maintenance without any notice. Had to walk 10’ to another hotel to have breakfast. The garden seems abandoned without any maintenance. The room is not decorated,…

This property was our favorite experience in Taos. It is utterly charming. The breakfast was the best we have ever had. Loved chatting with other visitors. Slept like a baby. Highly recommend this B and B

Very clean , loved our room. Amy was amazing. Maintenance in lobby so no on site breakfast but gave voucher at sister property that was fantastic.

2. Front door did not close all the way. 3. Canopy bed had uncovered steel bars and blocked TV. 4. Window next to bed had plywood and duct tape cover. 5. Fireplace did not work. 6. Very noisy refrigerator. 7. Only one mirror in room. 8. No phone in room. 9. No microwave in room. 10. Out-dated TV with no movie channels. 11. No hair dryer in room. 12. Not adequate counter space in Bath. 13. Not enough towels or towel racks in Bath. 14. Required full payment up front. 15. Unreasonable cancellation policy.

Breakfast was plentiful with a daily quiche, fresh fruit and pastries. Our room was very pleasant and had a gas fireplace although it was warm enough that it wasn’t needed. The shower had plenty of water pressure and there was plentiful hot water. Our bed was comfortable. Convenient location and ample parking. Claudia and Amy were very helpful.

What a beautiful space to spend time in Taos! The gardens were lovely and the breakfast table was a fun way to connect with other travelers and exchange experiences and tips!

Breakfast was very fresh and the Quiche was very good. Parking felt safe.
