There was a homeless gal right in the back entrance way with her computer plugged into the outlet. Not ok....
-
Easy to walk around. No need to drive Only thing is since the building itself is old, all the electric outlets were lose connections Could not on or off the TB with remote Even the bed lamps Had to unplug them to off Need severe electrical upgrades

Cuarto muy pequeño al igual que el baño

There should be information up front that this Hotel is not in anyway associated with the hotel La Fonda in Santa Fe.

Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, great location.

We liked the location right on the Plaza which was close to lots of shops and restaurants. Unfortunately, there were some homeless people just outside the entrance both days that we stayed here. the hotel is very old and the rooms are quite small but it has a quaint vibe. The coffee shop was okay, not great.
-
Great location on the plaza. Staff is super helpful. Rooms have an authentic feel.
-
Iconic decor. Homey rooms, very vintage place. Definitely recommend.
-
Beautiful, historic hotel that felt like a comfortable and has modern comforts.

Funky spot

The location of this place is excellent. Loved the coffee shop attached to it. It is a beautiful historic place, clean and comfortable. My only complaint is that although it does have an elevator to the upper floor, you have to navigate up or down 4 or 5 steps to get to your room. For elderly people with luggage it can be a challenge.

This historic hotel was comfortable and situated in the middle of the "old town". You are immersed in the southwest adobe style. It is fun to walk around the many great shops and restaurants. I bought a beautiful new purse, a dress, several tops and a cool crow sculpture. You can find quality items at reasonable prices. We had dinner at Lamberts and breakfast at the Bent Street Grill. The room was small but bed was comfortable. I did hear some cars revving their engines around midnight (which I had read on other reviews before I booked) but it did not last long. There is an easy parking lot behind the hotel for $10 per night. I would stay here again.

Fantastic stay overall. Caring, friendly and attentive staff. Great location as well. We would definitely return the next time we visit Taos.

A very comfortable stay, with a great location.

Great place to stay in Taos.

Our initial room assignment was bad. Window did not fully close, very small towards back corner, ceiling fan needed work, had a connecting door. Then a very loud couple moves in - TV and loud voices until

This is a great traditional Taos feel! Staff was super helpful, great right in old town. We will definitely stay here again
-
Beautiful rooms restroom clean, bedding was nice. Very quiet

BEDBUGS!!! I woke up with 20 ~ 30 bites. I will never stay in this hotel again and I will be sure that everyone I know understands why.

This unique inn is beautiful and an ideal place to stay. The location is perfect, especially if you’re looking to walk to many attractions. The parking is easy to access. The building itself is old and historic but well maintained and holds individualistic charm. The only drawbacks are that there was no hot water on occasion and it was loud at night, despite us being in the “quietest rooms”.
