If you want to feel like a guest in a very kind person's home, this is where you want to be. Peggy, Charles and Winston run the place and do nearly everything. They still find the time to be helpful, kind, accommodating and generous. The setting feels like a country house, even though you could walk to the plaza. The breakfasts are to order and are amazing! It's incredibly peaceful and relaxing. Just wonderful.

I would definitely recommend The Inn on La Loma Plaza and plan on spending more time there in the future.

Everything. Welcomed with a warm greeting by the owner Peggy and her springer spaniel Winston. The grounds, rooms and facilities are historic yet modern, clean, quiet and convenient to Taos Pueblo and city center. We loved everything about our stay

Really enjoyed Peggy and her lovely inn. She was fun, knowledgeable and offered an extensive and delicious home made breakfast.

Gorgeous historical property with tons of charm. Very quiet, spacious suite with wonderful southwest and beautiful grounds. The innkeeper Peggy was a super gracious host. Breakfasts were amazing. Easy, spacious private parking, walking distance or a short drive to everything. We just loved it here and will most definitely be back! Not a thing!

What a charming, lovely, beautifully restored, historic adobe hacienda built in 1800 as part of a fortified Spanish settlement in Taos, New Mexico. Sequestered behind high adobe walls on a quiet hill overlooking the town and the Sangre de Cristo Range, this bed-and-breakfast features Southwestern-style rooms with handcrafted furniture, wood-burning fireplaces, and private patios. It is owned and operated by the congenial, informative, and endly fascinating Peggy Osterfoss. Who is also a stellar cook. Inn at La Loma Plaza is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and is ideally situated as it is a mere15-minute walk from the historic Taos Plaza. I absolutely adored my stay here, but I suppose some folks looking for a Ritz Carlton experience might find the accommodations rustic. I found the Inn at La Loma Plaza enchanting.

This is a beautiful historic property that is extremely well maintained and inviting. Our host was very knowledgeable about its history and she was so friendly and helpful! Breakfast was delicious with so many options, prepared and served by our host in a relaxed and friendly manner. We stayed in the Happy Trails Room and the bed was quite comfortable. The decor is lovely and the many amenities provided were great. One small inconvenience is that the bathroom is quite small and does not have any counter space, although there is one small shelf above the sink to place personal items. However, this did not diminish our time at the Inn and we would love to return for another stay soon.

Nice comfortable room
-
Historic building in historic often overlooked part of Taos Directions to entrance not clear. Especially an issue for a disabled person.

We had a great stay at the Inn on La Loma Plaza. Given the opportunity, we shall return.

Mattress & linens were good. Room space was fine. Kiva fireplace nice. Steam shower OK, but very small and dark. Awful bed pillows that had zero loft. Really hard for side sleeper to get enough support. Funky vessel sink in bath had faucet that poured fast, hit the sink, and followed sink shape up to soak guest. Sink was also weirdly placed, and I had difficulty (5’6”) standing on my tip toes just to rinse my face over sink. While expecting oddities for very old historic space (and lovely timbered ceiling) it was disappointing to have modern features (pillows/plumbing) fail.

Peggy is the absolute best! This is a must stay in Taos!! No complaints!!
