The Inn was built in the 1800s and still has the old southwestern charm. It is maintained very well and the grounds are beautiful. There are rocking chairs and other seating outside to allow you to sit and enjoy the day. Approximately a 10 minute walk to the Taos Plaza. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was excellent. The place was homey. And really a bed and breakfast rather than a hotel. Bed was really comfortable. Lots of stairs inside and out.

Beautiful vintage inn converted from an historical building. The grounds were beautiful and accommodations were top notch. The location was very close to historic Taos Plaza. Will definitely stay here again. Couldn't have been more pleased.
-
It was "adobe bug" season and unfortunately critters were regularly appearing on the furniture, bed, etc. Staff sprayed the outside of the building and reassured us the bugs weren't dangerous or invasive. But that and a slightly cramped room impacted the overall comfort level.

The Inn La Loma was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay, The pictures on the listing don't do it justice.. The innkeeper was very welcoming and informative. The breakfasts were delicious!! I expected a pretty cursory affair as they often are, but it was made to order and was made up of several courses. I strongly recommend! I can't wait to return for a longer stay.

Breakfast staff was delightful...helpful in planning our day/sights to see; front desk guy was less than helpful...he did help with luggage up stairs...no smiles; generally we were disappointed...we were advised of no elevator and need to climb stairs...usually not an issue, however we expected ADA compliant hand rails on the stairs and there were none; initial parking required climbing the equivalent of two stories to get to reservation desk also without handrails; our room photo seemed far more elegant than the room was in actuality; king mattress seem old, having a soft covering over old coil springs which could be touched on the side; AC switch sporadic and without help to correct; with windows/door open lots of road noise one of our two nights

So beautiful and peaceful. Nothing

If you want to feel like a guest in a very kind person's home, this is where you want to be. Peggy, Charles and Winston run the place and do nearly everything. They still find the time to be helpful, kind, accommodating and generous. The setting feels like a country house, even though you could walk to the plaza. The breakfasts are to order and are amazing! It's incredibly peaceful and relaxing. Just wonderful.

Breakfast offered a wide selection with different main courses each morning, served in a quiet, picturesque room with a view of the peaceful courtyard. The hotel is historical, tucked away and seemingly off by itself, yet within walking distance of the town plaza. My wife and I took several pictures of the front of the hotel and the courtyard and spent time just relaxing in front of our room enjoying the setting.

Peggy was an amazing host and her pride in her property shines through. I definitely recommend this wonderful hotel

I would definitely recommend The Inn on La Loma Plaza and plan on spending more time there in the future.

Great stay, beautiful, historic building. Just like a historic museum with many collections that are Toas and the old west related. Great breakfast too!

Everything. Welcomed with a warm greeting by the owner Peggy and her springer spaniel Winston. The grounds, rooms and facilities are historic yet modern, clean, quiet and convenient to Taos Pueblo and city center. We loved everything about our stay

Really enjoyed Peggy and her lovely inn. She was fun, knowledgeable and offered an extensive and delicious home made breakfast.

Gorgeous historical property with tons of charm. Very quiet, spacious suite with wonderful southwest and beautiful grounds. The innkeeper Peggy was a super gracious host. Breakfasts were amazing. Easy, spacious private parking, walking distance or a short drive to everything. We just loved it here and will most definitely be back! Not a thing!

Great Service What a charming, lovely, beautifully restored, historic adobe hacienda built in 1800 as part of a fortified Spanish settlement in Taos, New Mexico. Sequestered behind high adobe walls on a quiet hill overlooking the town and the Sangre de Cristo Range, this bed-and-breakfast features Southwestern-style rooms with handcrafted furniture, wood-burning fireplaces, and private patios. It is owned and operated by the congenial, informative, and endly fascinating Peggy Osterfoss. Who is also a stellar cook. Inn at La Loma Plaza is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and is ideally situated as it is a mere15-minute walk from the historic Taos Plaza. I absolutely adored my stay here, but I suppose some folks looking for a Ritz Carlton experience might find the accommodations rustic. I found the Inn at La Loma Plaza enchanting.
