I wouldn’t return to the Sagebrush Inn. Dirty, run down, lazy staff, and the list goes on. Not worth talking about and not worth your or money!

The room was spacious and clean.

Unfortunately, the room was small. Did not match the photo. underneath handles on restroom sink was dirty, calcium buildup and not polished. In my opinion, price is too high for mentioned review.

It was a great place for us and our 2 pups! The courtyard room makes it easy access for the dogs. Love the NM decor and feeling of the place. Feels a bit old but very clean, charming and the bed was comfy!

Clean large room with king and a Murphy bed Queen. Balcony. Very comfortable beds. We checked in at 4pm we’re booked in a second floor room. Lugged all of our stuff 4bags only to find the room occupied by a family and dog. Lugged everything back down went to desk. I think we got the balcony bigger room cause it was all they had left. Turned out fine. Enjoyed sitting on balcony. Had breakfast at the restaurant which was terrific and the staff was stupendous. Even a member of the kitchen came out to greet us and inquire about our satisfaction. We will be back.

Date: Regarding: Travel Dates: Location: July 5, 2026 Stay Feedback & Early Checkout Request July 3-July 5, 2026 Taos, New Mexico To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally submit feedback regarding my recent stay over the July 4th holiday weekend. While this trip was an incredibly important family gathering intended to honor a deeply meaningful personal milestone and celebrate a loved one's life, the subpar cleanliness and room conditions ultimately forced us to cut our trip short and check out early. Unfortunately, the remainder of our experience did not meet an acceptable hospitality standard. Most critically, the room fell dangerously short of basic sanitary and cleanliness expectations. During our stay, a live insect fell from the ceiling directly onto a family member's head. This was an incredibly mortifying and embarrassing experience to endure in front of my guests. The thought of sleeping in an environment where pests are actively dropping from overhead presents an unacceptable health, safety, and comfort violation. Due to these unhygienic conditions, we felt entirely uncomfortable and unsafe remaining on the property, choosing to vacate the premises early rather than stay for our final night. I request that Expedia formally reviews this matter with the property management so they can urgently address their housekeeping standards, pest control protocols, and staff issues. Sincerely, Elizabeth Ibrahim bet2007h@gmail.com

For starters, we didn't get the room I selected online, property was very poorly maintained, coffee maker was missing it's parts and the toilet ran continuously.. Extremely misleading photos on the Expedia site, not impressed ,felt taken for a ride.. probably won't be using Expedia anymore.. definitely won't stay there again.

It was alright. For the price, I would imagine the services would be better.

Great pool, wonderful courtyard! Cool place!
-
Historical hotel that has not been taken care of. Needs a lot work. Staff were great
-
Curtains have bugs Balconies dirty and old
-
We used to love this place but probably won't go again.
-
It is a pretty location The hotel is run down and dirty.

Upon arrival the staff were unhelpful. I hadn't booked yet and asked specifically for a room near pool and arking in which we could see car. They failed on both even though I asked and was placed on old section. Small room, nothing too convenient. For the price, I was very disappointed.

Old and outdated too much $ for an old rundown place. Food was bad

Breakfast was amazing. Eat there anytime but don’t stay at the hotel. The hotel was dirty, grimy floors, more lightbulbs out than worked. AC was very loud. Bed is average. Needs a renovation of the rooms badly.

The Sagebrush Inn is a great place to stay in. This is the second time we stay stay at this place. I like that there is something

Great staff, Great value for the room

Our room was amazing - the art, the classic New Mexican design, the size of the room and the comfort was beyond expectations. The bed was super quality, and opened to a park-like atmosphere. The hotel is historic!
