Hilton Garden Inn Rapid City

Person that checked me in was rude and not friendly. Carpet in the hallways was stained and had distinct pet odors.

Great location, great property, clean, well maintained, spacious A beautiful property. We had prebooked on bookings and had verification showing we had paid in full for the stay. Once we arrived their system was down, we showed our proof as well as offered to leave our drivers license and cash to hold as a deposit. They canceled our stay since we were not wrote down on a price of paper and told us we needed to find a room elsewhere. We tried multiple solutions with the receptionist and she went back for approval of the manager each time and they were denied. The manager never even came out to speak with us himself. Extremely rude.

Property needs some serious love, inside and out.

Location Room wasn’t super clean, bed was lumpy and dirty on edges.

The room was clean. I booked through a 3rd party and wanted an accessible walk in shower but it was not noted on my booking and they did not have a room available.

Staff handled problems with reservation very well.

Most things about the hotel were good for a 3 star. The exception is noted below. Carpets throughout hotel were old and dirty. Room seemed to be updated but no excuse for the carpets looking dirty and stained.

The pool and spa were filthy

Comfortable bed and easy check in. The glass shower had not been cleaned and had some type of white goop (probably shampoo or something similar) stuck all over it, you could also see where something had been spilled next to the bed and cleaning staff had not scrubbed the carpet or wiped the side of the bed down.

It wasn't included in the very high cost of the room. No pen or pencil of paper. No persoal use toiletries. The shower had pink mold in all the corners. No slip proof strips or mat in the shower. Only one grab bar. The highway and parking lot sounds were loud. Most of all it was too expensive fot the reality of the room.

We enjoyed our stay. Clean and quiet after a long travel day. Friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend and would stay again

We enjoyed our close proximity to the pool. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was okay but a bit pricey. The bed was very uncomfortable and the carpet appeared to be in need of cleaning throughout the halls and room.
