Hilton Garden Inn Rapid City

Rooms were well lighted and location was good. Carpets in hallways were very dirty and should be replaced immediately and they really set the tone that the hotel needs to be updated. Food at breakfast was not good and was not worth $42 for two people. Staff was not congenial.

Very clean. Quiet location. Breakfast would be better if it had a few more options. The pool area had biting flies. The hotel might consider hanging fly strips. We slept well in comfortable beds.

We were only there one night. Keys were ready when we got there & check in was a breeze.

Once we arrived their system was down, we showed our proof as well as offered to leave our drivers license and cash to hold as a deposit. They canceled our stay since we were not wrote down on a price of paper and told us we needed to find a room elsewhere. We tried multiple solutions with the receptionist and she went back for approval of the manager each time and they were denied. The manager never even came out to speak with us himself. Extremely rude.

Property needs some serious love, inside and out.

Location Room wasn’t super clean, bed was lumpy and dirty on edges.

The room was clean. I booked through a 3rd party and wanted an accessible walk in shower but it was not noted on my booking and they did not have a room available.

Staff handled problems with reservation very well.
