Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Rapid City

Great location. Free parking available but not onsite. No pool and room much smaller than the pictures. But over all great.

Sign on property missing made it hard to find in complex with three hotels. The tv had a listing of channels but no guide of what was available or coming next.

Well cleaned and vacuumed. The bedroom was spotless and shiny. Only complaint was the table was the one where the coffee sat only had one chair. Room was decorated nicely. Staff: At front desk the was quiet but helpful.. Wi-Fi: Worked well. Breakfast: Was wonderful with yogurts, waffles, cereal hot/cold, fruit, biscuit/gravy, bagels, muffins, juice, milk and coffee. The gal working in the breakfast area came in with a smile at 6am and was very friendly. Will definitely return.

Room smelled like wet dog. Internet did not work over charged by $20 a night from what I booked n Expedia.

Parking was good, biscuits was cold, gravy thick and warm. room wasn’t ready until after 4;00 pm . Then I got in there and it was half cleaned. Told staff and he was rude and offered me a soda and said that’s the best he can do . I wanted to cancel and leave. He said I wouldn’t advise you to do that because there’s no rooms left no where in Rapid . I asked for another room there and he said they were ALL full .

The room had bugs in the bathroom. The guy at the front desk wouldn’t do anything to fix the problem!

We stayed in Room 110, where the refrigerator was so loud it repeatedly woke us up, and the fire alarm chirped during our stay. Because the walls are thin, we could hear doors slamming, the waffle maker beeping every morning, barking dogs, and crying babies, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep. Housekeeping is only provided upon request, but even after requesting it, our room wasn’t serviced as expected. We also ran out of body wash, and it took three days to have it refilled. Breakfast was very basic and exactly the same each morning: muffins, yogurt, coffee, juice, biscuits and gravy, bagels, and bread, with very little variety. Overall, while the hotel is clean and the beds are comfortable, the noise, lack of housekeeping, limited breakfast, and inconsistent customer service made this a disappointing stay.

Though the hotel was modern, it just seemed like everything broke down when we got there. When we arrived, the elevator and the first floor ice maker didn’t work. Even though breakfast eas provided, the gravy was incredibly salty. I recommend going to Comfort Inn next-door.

The rooms were clean.The tv was almost impossible other than that.It was pretty nice
