Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Rapid City by IHG

It was a nice room. The tv guide didn't work on the tv and no paper guide to show what stations were what. We were there 3 nights and it was fairly close to the Monuments/Badlands/Custer park, Crazy Horse. If you go to Deadwood, stop in the Sick & Twisted Brewery and Wine. We had a great experience tasting wine there and being serenaded by a singing dog. We would stay here again!

Quick overnight couple trip. Hotel seems fairly new. Clean, comfortable, close to shopping and plenty of eateries.

Very clean and friendly staff

The rooms were kept clean, but some of the common areas not so much. The breakfast selection was good, although there wasn't a microwave oven in the breakfast area to warm some of the food that wasn't very hot. There wasn't coffee pots in the room, but they did have coffee available in the breakfast area 24 hours a day. The pool area was nice for kids, but very young children were also allowed to play in the hot tub, which kind of spoiled it for the adult's. Overall it was a okay place to stay. I would give it a 7 1/2 out of 10.

Thought the ac had unit filter needed cleaned. Woke up with scratchy throat. Similar to exposure to mold in air. With outside air so moist, might have maintenance take a look. Otherwise, nice facility

Excellent and convenient hotel near Mount Rushmore and National Parks!! Breakfast was superb and room always clean. Overall I enjoyed my stay at this place for almost a week! I highly recommend it

The hotel was renovated recently and everything smelled new. Breakfast was great.

Clean property and good size room. Conveniently located for Mt Rushmore, Badlands and other attractions. Breakfast was standard fare. Make sure you ask for your room to be cleaned/towels changed. We came back to a room that had not seen housekeeping services.

Easy access from the freeway. The rooms were clean, well insulated and spacious. We enjoyed the Continental breakfast.

Exactly what you want when staying at hotel after a very long travel day. Friendly staff, clean room, and great complimentary breakfast.

Very good breakfast. Staff was helpful and rooms were very nice. I did have a problem with the accessible bath though. I had back surgery 6 weeks prior and can't bend, twist or lift. I was solo in the room and can't lift my right leg well enough even though there were TONS of grab bars. There was a nice bench in the tub but the soap and shampoo would have been 2 inches from my back (can't twist). The floor had a nice non slip mat but the shower head was at the other end of the tub. As I was alone I opted not to shower. The rest of the amenities were great.
