Great hotel in the center of town. Very clean and personnel were exceptional nice. I would stay there again!

Cool and fun hotel that we really enjoyed. Everyone there was very helpful and very friendly.

We chose to stay at Alex Johnson because of hits historic nature, and were pleased by the way it has been maintained and upgraded. It was also extremely convienient for walking around the uptown. The rooftop skybar (Vertext) is also a plus. We did not eat there because the menu was somewhat limited and a bit pricey, but we did enjoy having drinks there on the outdoor patio one evening.

Loved the historic hotel. While the hotel is old the rooms are updated and have very comfortable beds! Delicious restaurant on the top floor with a nice rooftop bar. Loved it!

The hotel was beautiful and centrally located. The only negative was the parking situation. We were able to secure spots on the street but it would have been nice to have parking included in the rate.
-
Just a cool place with mice people :-)
-
Check in was late, its a very old hotel but it is in a good location for walking, although would not recommend walking at night

Sorry Rapid City… but this hotel was much better than I expected in Rapid City. Rooftop bar was nice, main floor pub was great, and the rooms were super clean. Two thumbs up!!
