The Rushmore Hotel & Suites, BW Premier Collection

Tub was peeling, plug was no where to be found. Bathroom floor was sticky. Tv remote didn’t work. Urine in the elevator. Over all the hotel feels very worn and dingy.

Awful breckfast. The staff did nothing to serve customers And food wasn't good The facility needs a complete turnover from. Sheets to not working things in bathroom and no refrid gerator

The front desk staff were very kind and the gentlemen in the restaurant were very professional. The headboard was flaking bits onto the sheets. Didn't initially notice as it was born by the pillows. Turning in the air conditioning made my allergies a living nightmare - Im sure it hasn't been cleaned in a while.

The property is located within walking distance of downtown Rapid City. The breakfast was very good.

Nice lobby and dining room. The room was very clean. It was restocked with fresh towels and tidied up each day of our stay. We had a nice lunch at the casual restaurant upon arrival and breakfast. Good choices. Hotel desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location as it was only a short walk to restaurants and the visitors center. The hotel is older. The deco is very unique and a little tired and outdated.

The hotel overall is fine but we had a bad experience with another guest hitting and damaging our car in the parking lot. It was all caught on video. Staff at first was very helpful and said they would follow up. But as soon as we checked out we never heard back from the staff or the manager, even though we even escalated our issue. Really disappointing end to our vacation. Bad enough our car got hit but all the time getting false promises from staff was wasted time because in the end they didn't help us at all. Our room was ok, but dated and smelled like the hotel allows animals. The location is good and it is decent, but not anything fancy. The restaurants and the restaurant/bar staff were really good and so was the food. Car damage aside we would rate it as just ok overall. The restaurants and bar area lifts up the worn out hotel.

This hotel was not what was portrayed online or in reviews. Although the room itself was ok and having free parking and the location were great, the lobby, corridors, bathrooms, amenities and staff needed some improvements........especially for the price you paid. The business center computer was also broken, no fridge in the room, no laundry facilities, and there was a tacky display selling bottled water for $1 in the lobby when many hotels give you a bottle for free.

Staff was excellent.

Room was very outdated. Pillows were flat and all bedding seemed old. The air conditioning sounded like a 747 taking off. Baseboard in the bathroom was falling apart. For the price of the room I was expecting better.

The train went by right after we went to bed and blew its horn! This was before 10:00 pm We were not warned about the train schedule and felt a little blindsighted by this! Also felt that the small restaurant was overcrowded by the tour group. We couldn’t get a table or a seat at the bar so had to use a sitting area and had to order finger foods that didn’t require silverware. The bar and eating area was understaffed even though the two servers were amazing !!!! We did receive the best of care from the hard working servers👏👏👏
