The Rushmore Hotel & Suites, BW Premier Collection

Bar was small and service was good when you could get it. The bathtub could have used a little more elbow grease . NO mini fridge whatsoever . I don’t even look for that anymore if I’m paying that kind of money for a room but here we are. Beds were not protected with mattress protector so that kind of skeeved me out . Pillows were completely deflated and old. All decaf coffee. Even the maids only had decaf. Breakfast host was dry and rude. Buffett was $16 and coffee $3 which I found a little pricey for the selection. I have gotten the same breakfast for free at most chain hotels. Area was nice and all over seemed well kept. Just a little bit goes a long way.

​ The main reason for my negative review is that we stayed on the 9th floor on a Saturday night in August, facing Main Street, and it was so loud that we got no sleep at all. The worst part was an outdoor band playing at the bar across the street until midnight that was so loud they might as well have been in our room. The traffic, sirens, and every single person talking below came through the closed windows as clear as day. ​ Obviously, the street noise isn't within the hotel's control, but the fact that the windows were sealed so poorly that it sounded like an all-night rave in our room is definitely something they can improve on. We decided to just suck it up and not complain to the staff because they were absolutely fantastic and none of this was their fault anyway. ​ However, for $350+ a night, I would never stay here again. I've stayed in rooms that cost half as much that were far better maintained and far quieter, even in busy areas. Overall, it was just a bad experience. If you do stay here on a summer weekend, I strongly recommend requesting a room that doesn't face Main Street and if you pay more than $20

No hot water , chair was awful, ceiling was terrible and bath tub was nasty, has been painted and it was coming off . Try to tell boy at counter of issues and he didn’t even care . But the girls at counter was great

Great location. Front desk staff very friendly. A/C did not work 2 of 3 nights. Both nights they replaced a fuse. One night it held, the other it didn't and made for a miserable night. One day upon return, the bed covers were just thrown over the beds. The beds were not made properly. Very unprofessional. Bathroom sink was cracked and blow dryer didn't work properly.

Location and very cool hotel! The door was very sticky and heavy. It was hard to open and close securely.

When we got in the room, there was dirt and crumbs in both beds and a toenail on the floor. They obviously did not clean the room. When we asked for the room to be recleaned, we walked in and the toenail was still on the ground and only one of the gross beds were cleaned. Staff at the front desk were helpful and very nice. The lack of cleanliness made us uncomfortable sleeping in the room.

Had the best location if you’re looking for down town scenery. It was in the center of everything. Nothing at all.

We decided to stay another two nights and were quoted a price. But upon check out our second night cost more. When asking the staff about this, they said the cost per night depends on how many rooms are available. When a price is given, it should be that price. Whenever we asked to speak to a manager, we were told there was not one in the building.

Location No microwave or fridge in the room desk but no pen or paper.

Beautiful setting & lovely hotel!

Good location in downtown Rapid City, near many good restaurants and easy free parking. Decent WiFi. POD coffee maker in the room. Hotel restaurant and bars are very good. It was about a mile from the I-90 which is t a. If deal, but I hadn’t realized when I booked it. There is no refrigerator or microwave in the room, which I’ve become accustomed to. As is normal for the area, the price goes up during the Sturgis motorcycle Rally.

We stayed with our pup and they took care of us. Great stay and location is fantastic.

The one negative: some nights there were too many trains going by.
