The Rushmore Hotel & Suites, BW Premier Collection

Clean room.

The restaurant/bar had outside seating and at night a gas firepit warmed the cool night air. Our room had a small refrig that came in handy to hold our soft drinks and water. I gave the hotel a three star because it is dated and our room needed some repairs.

Restaurant had good food but limited menu. Staff was great. Bathroom was clean but the toilet was difficult due to its height. Rooms were small and difficult for two people to move about. Generally this hotel is in need of some updates and touch ups. Lots of street noise in the evenings.

Rooms are old and dated, bedding old, worn and stained. I wouldn’t stay here again. Staff was kind and helpful but the hotel itself needs a total overhaul. The staff was great, good food and drinks.

Our stay was perfect. Ample free parking. Near restaurants and shopping. Beds and pillows were super comfortable. Highly recommended.

Hotel was located in downtown which was convenient to restaurants and shopping we felt very safe staff was very pleasant and helpful We were with a tour group so therefore we were to eat at the breakfast buffet The food I would rate only fair

Property needs new beds. Bed sank on both sides of the King. Low quality finishing and fixtures. Budget hotel without the budget prices.

We had no hot water at night and it was barely warm by morning when we needed to get to an appointment. I think there should be some money refunded when this happens.

The property was very walkable to places to eat. The small bar closest to the front desk was very busy and the bartender seemed overwhelmed. She was not only tending bar, but she was also taking food orders and serving them. The property has a lot of tour bus groups and that is why everything was busy. We received a $15 drink and food perk, but didn't use it because it was never mentioned when we were in the bar.

Person checking us in was different, but answered the phone while I was standing right there.

Hotel is an older building that has been attempted to be updated, but the updates have not really been maintained. Our vinyl headboard was peeling, the bathroom was tiny, the room a/c sounded like an airplane was taking off all night. The comforter had dirty spot like it wasn’t changed. Not the worst room I have stayed in, but I expected more out of a BW “premier”. And the pictures over sell it.

Good location downtown No hot water on the first night and they didn’t offer any compensation. Hot water was intermittent for the remainder of our stay. One of the two elevators also broke down for a while and the other was packed with tourists.
