We ended up not staying there. The hotel was disgusting. Pool was green with algae. Hallways were and common areas were dilapidated. Bedroom was filthy. There were cut toe nails on the rug. When we complained to the front desk we were brushed aside as she checked other people in. We requested a manager and the front desk clerk refused to contact her. She was rude and said our complaints were a matter of perspective. Refused to provide a refund and still processed for a full 2 days when we didn't even stay there. The hotel should be shut down. Never will stay there or any Days Inn again. Worse experience ever.

We checked in to this hotel ad was immediately turned off by the people staying there. We saw a lady in the front of the hotel that was very shady looking. We checked into the hotel room and saw stains on the bed, on the wall and the bathroom was unclean. My wife and two children were scared to stay here so we immediately checked out within 10 minutes and moved into another hotel. We asked the front desk clerk to assist with a refund of the stay but it does not look like he did. I would not recommend this hotel for families of anyone with children.

I booked two rooms with two queen beds each through Expedia. When I arrived, the front desk insisted both rooms only had one queen bed. The photos on Expedia clearly show two beds — and since the hotel uploads those photos, they absolutely knew what the reservation was supposed to include. We waited over an hour for the manager to call and approve the correct rooms. The manager never called back. Expedia tried contacting the hotel as well, but no one answered. Eventually, Expedia had to rebook us at a different hotel, and by then it was already after 10:15 PM. Afterward, I found other reviews describing the exact same issue. It’s obvious the hotel oversells the two‑bed rooms and then refuses to honor reservations. The receptionist said the rooms were available but said she couldn’t give them to us without manager approval. When I showed her the Expedia listing with photos of two beds, the site suddenly showed “sold out,” which conveniently allowed them to claim only one‑bed rooms were left. While we waited, we saw multiple guests complaining about all kinds of problems — broken TV remotes, TVs not working at all, room keys failing, and more. Only one receptionist was working, overwhelmed by nonstop issues. This hotel is poorly managed, misleading in its listings, and unreliabl

The pool was disgusting and had dirt and sand all over the bottom, the room was dirty and had drywall dust all over the place, including the AC vents which would have sprayed out all over the room if we’d turned it on. Toilet overflowed and the first staff member I spoke with was extremely rude. We had to find a plunger on a random cleaning cart to attempt to fix the problem ourselves, and it took 45 minutes before anyone showed up. Management was sparse and unwilling to help accommodate a different room. We ended up leaving after less than 2 hours and finding a new place to stay for the night. Which was disappointing after being in a car for 9 hours. Will not recommend or stay here again.

Line at the front desk while only one worker tended to customers, who looked to be the manager just stood back and watched everyone wait instead of using the second computer right in front of him to help. Then when I got my room card, there were workers taking up the whole hallway to get to my room. As soon as I tried to enter and settle in they decided it was time for my room to get a shower rack installation. I wasn’t able to get my room to myself for 30 minutes after check in. They left dust and dirt all over my bathroom. My AC did not work. The outlets on the side of the room with the bed were all non functional. Overall terrible experience with terrible service and terrible room quality.

Big disconnects between what I reserved (thru Expedia) and what motel tried to put me in. I had NO PET, needed ground floor room with easy access due to walker and on Oxygen. Motel tried to charge me Pet Fee and put me on 2nd floor, with no elevator! I spent 1/2 hour (after 14 hrs of driving!) in lobby, on phone with Expedia and talking to motel management, getting it straightened out. Finally got downstairs room off lobby, but the bathroom was "unsafe" for taking a shower! The light was so bad you could not see past the sink, and the overhead vent motor, which came on with same switch as light, was grinding and arcing and scared the bejesus out of me! The complimentary continental breakfast was pitiful. The toasters did not work and there was absolutely no fruit, not even bananas or apples. There was no cold cereal and milk, or breakfast rolls of any kind! I would never recommend this motel to anyone!

The hotel is going through a redevelopment of the property, so half the building was completed and the other half was being worked on so builders and equipment everywhere, so not ideal, this wasn't explained to us on checking in and no alternative was offered, staff were obviously stressed so we didn't feel we were a priority, breakfast was basic and microwave was not clean, so why the low rating

When we arrived the front desk staff let me know my reservation was cancelled because I was considered a “no show” even though I let them know ahead of time we would be arriving at 2am. Staff then told me the room was no longer available, but had another room for another EXTRA $35. So we asked if he had anything cheaper or could at least help us out as there was obviously some miscommunication. Not sure how OUR room was booked between 12am and 2am as I had the room reserved. He was not helpful at all at quite rude as he blamed us for not arriving earlier. Our room then also smelled. Would not recommend.

I’m surprised this place is allowed open, probably needs to be investigated. Best to pay a little extra to go anywhere else. Definitely the dirtiest hotel I’ve stayed in. Room seemed to still be under construction and not maintained. We got there and there was still pee on the toilet seat from previous guests and hair in the shower. The bathroom fan looked rusted and didn’t work, with a plug in hanging out of it? Floors felt grimy and gross, bedding wasn’t terrible but there was probably a 20 year old blanket that looked “off” with holes in it. No fridge, and bedside lamps could not be plugged in because outlets didn’t even have the 3rd prong. Room also kinda smelled like smoke when we entered. The window was unlocked with no screen, anybody could easily get in from there. Thankfully there was a latch on the window that I had to lock. The AC didn’t work had the fan high speed at 60° and was still sweating all night. Didn’t even try the TV but I heard another guest having problems with theirs. Breakfast looked gross don’t expect much, we just skipped it. I don’t usually leave reviews but this was bad. If you have no other choice hopefully you have a better experience. I had no issues with the working staff, at least the bed was mostly comfortable, and the shower was hot.

The pool is not open and the area is very unsafe. In good conscience, I could not stay with my wife and kids. I ended up booking different accommodations. When I asked for a refund, Hotels.com responded that they would not offer it saying they could not confirm the state of conditions with the hotel managers. I had spoken to him immediately prior. Hotels.com lied to me to save a refund. Pathetic.

The hotel is under renovation. We were originally put in a room that was in such bad condition the bathroom light and fan did not work. We asked for a different room and we're told there was none. We were told the bathroom would be fixed by the time we returned at 10:00 p.m.. when we returned to the hotel our personal items had been moved to a new room. The new room was not completed and did not have adequate furniture or even toilet paper. The maintenance man was as nice as he could be. When we checked out we could see other rooms that were being cleaned and the other rooms did seem to be renovated and in decent order.

Shockingly not the worst Days Inn I have ever stayed at, but boy did they try. Nowhere when I booked did it say half of it was under construction. As I was waiting to check-in a couple came back up to the counter and said the room they had just checked into was flooded, and the desk manager/owner said, "Well I can give you some towels." Then he apparently realized he was in the HOTEL BUSINESS and gave them another room. On the second day, my sink started leaking; it was obviously newly installed and not plumbed in correctly. The elevator didn't work, so the lady checking in behind me on a walker couldn't check in, and the same idiot said, "Well it's only a couple of stairs to the second floor." After not sleeping well because the AC sounded like a freight train, on Friday morning, I was awakened to the sound of furniture being heaved out of the hotel into a dumpster as construction began promptly at exactly 6:00 am on my vacation. Thanks to which, I got a nail in a tire in their parking lot. But at least it was ridiculously over-priced for tourist season. God awful. And yet, the one in Russel, Kansas was somehow worse. At least this place had a breakfast bar, even if there was no food on it after 6:15 am, and it was totally vegetarian for some reason. Wyndham has gone so far downhill in the last few years; it's sad. Avoid. Pay the extra money and stay at the Rushmore or Alex Johnson in Rapid City.
