Rawlins Western Lodge

Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Carpet was kinda yuck, but never go barefoot in a hotel. You could tell it’s an old hotel but very clean and comfortable. Great value for the money It did have a slight strange odor. Nothing a few squirts of body spray didn’t fix.

Old school in a gods way Fridge didn’t get very cold.

Very modestly priced place and VERY comfortable. Everything from bed to towels was nice. Comes with an easy chair AND cable so you don’t have to login just to relax. Yes, the fixtures may look a bit dated, but the bed is awesome, comfortable and new pillows, soft sheets, great water pressure and very clean.

Good, clean and comfortable Nothing

We were on a cross-country road trip and needed a place to sleep for a night. The property is old, but fun and full of nostalgia. The rooms were clean as were the linens. Great if you like a vintage motel, but not if you're looking for a 4-star experience.

Sign on front door said it was closed and it was only 7 pm. Trying to find desk clerk took several minutes. No TV. Toilet wouldn’t flush and had to go to front desk to get a plunger. Desk clerk was nice and cooperative. Comfortable bed. Ancient decor. We saw only one other car parked at building—thought perhaps we were the sole occupants. However, multiple beds were being cleaned when we checked out.

If you are looking for a place to simply get a good night's rest and don't care about a pool or workout space, etc this is a great place as the price is very reasonable. Mike, who greeted me was friendly and helpful.

Near the highway TV didn’t work and staff was slow to respond to the problem.

Nothing to like Did not feel safe, hotel rear door to rooms could not be closed, door to room felt insecure. Bathroom was unpleasant and not kept up well. Carpeting throughout was stained. Hotel situated between a road and the railroad tracks, noisy.

Room and bed were good. Bathroom is dated, but clean.

Great rooms and friendly staff!

The property has not been updated in years. Although the towels and bedding was clean and appeared to be new everything else was worn. The TV only worked when you held it under the set?!?

It was a fun atmosphere and friendly staff. Would definitely stay again if I find myself coming through here.

Mike the owner...super nice guy. Very helpful with area information. The decor is super fun. Art all over the place including outdoor displays... That was a super bonus.

Bed was very comfortable. Place is very old and doesn't smell very good.

Mike, the owner was so friendly and very helpful and accommodating. While the hotel is not brand new, you can see that they do what they can to keep it clean and comfortable for guests. Most important to me, it was clean, no bugs or funky smells. It was quiet and dark, we slept on the 2nd floor on the south side. Trains went by but didn't blow their whistles so it was a restful night. I got cold at night but that's my fault for not turning up the heater.

Rooms are very large. A/C and heat are good! Cast iron tub! The area seems run down with a closed restaurant on each side of the property.

An old motel, but very nicely updated, room was very nice, complete with all that was needed. Definitely an excellent value, as the price was much less and quality comparable to most other motels in Rawlins. Bonus was the wonderful wood sculptures out front///
