Mar Bella Boutique Hotel & Spa

This property is relaxing and has a quieter, laid back vibe. Perfect for beach travelers who want a more adult environment. My college age daughter and I also had a spa treatment that was heavenly. Judy was excellent. We would stay here again!!

My husband and I took a short road trip for a few days to Delaware and stayed at Mar Bella. We were sooooo comfortable, so at home at this lovely property. Every single detail was thought of and included in our stay. The owner David maintains this lovely home and grounds along w his wife Vana. They addressed every single thing we could possibly have needed. We will most definitely stay at this property again in the future. It was immaculate, inside and out. The pool was spotless, the grounds lovely. Not a single weed to be found in the many plantings, the hot tub was clean and cozy. Just everything was done at this property with love and pride!

The Mar Bella is such a comfortable and enjoyable small hotel. My husband and I really enjoyed spending time in the courtyard where the pool, the hot tub and the sauna are located. Because the hotel is small, only about 10 rooms, we had privacy. It's a very relaxing spot. The room was very comfortable too. I used the spa which is mere steps away from the room. A very special place indeed!

All i can say is that the room, amenities,and staff are excellent.

I arrived around 4:30pm after a long day at the beach. After a quick check-in process I was shown to my room. You are provided a key code at check-in and that key code opens the main door on the property and your room. When we arrived at the room I entered my key code and the door didn't open. After several attempts we finally got the door to open. The room (Blue Herron) was lovely! Everything was spotlessly clean and the room was very bright (they have blackout blinds). The room was decorated/set up perfectly. I grabbed a quick shower and then was off to dinner with friends. When I went to leave the room, after several unsuccessful attempts, I could not get my door locked. Admittedly I was in a hurry so I stopped by the check-in desk and told the gentleman that I had to leave but my door wouldn't lock. He assured me he'd take care of it. When I arrived back to the property (around 10pm) I found it well lit and safe. I arrived back to my locked room and was able to unlock the door no problem. As others have mentioned the walls are thin. I could hear the TV from the room next to me. But they have ear plugs in the room and a sound machine. I always travel with a small fan to drown out noise and I had no issues once I turned that on. I found the bed super comfy. I only wish I had more time to spend here as the pool, hot tub, hammock, etc looked inviting

We really enjoyed our stay in the Sandcastle room. It was comfortable and spacious and had everything we needed. We wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the gorgeous pool area.
