Hotel Wave Rehoboth Beach

After staying 1 week, we had 1 day of someone cleaning the room. Only after requesting service. Need new carpets.

The room it's self was very clean and updated. The in room hot tub was also clean. However, the pool looked dirty and there was sand in the bottom of the pool. There was dirt floating on top of the water as well. The floors inside the pool area look as if they haven't been cleaned I years. The breakfast was terrible as well. Don't get your hopes up by the photos they advertise because the breakfast looks nothing like what is shown. The options were hard boiled eggs, bread, 1 type of muffin, English muffin and bagel. The juice had no flavor and the coffee was cold. They also had no creamer awhen we asked the front desk staff about it they said it's common for them to run out of creamer. There are stores within a 3 minute drive of the hotel, it's not that difficult to have coffee creamer on hand..Also, the carpets within the hotel hallways are hideous. They are dirty and stained black! Yuck! Definitely not inviting when you first walk in the hotel. Overall this place really needs some updating of the floors and the breakfast. It seemed as if they may be short staffed also. If you are looking for a hotel with these amenities just don't, look for another hotel to stay in!

It's was a great time that we spent at the hotel we really enjoyed great breakfast beautiful pool and hot tub and staff very helpful and friendly ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Clean room. Staff was cordial.

Black mold on ceiling, reaked of chemicals. Asked for another room… waited and waited and came out to find staff eating in waiting room. Tv wasn’t programmed to have cable on. Second room was better, but chemical smell was still terrible!

Initially took off shoes only to realize the floor was dirty and my socks were covered in hair. No mattress cover on one bed. Pool and hot were suspect. Breakfast extremely limited. Basically lipstick on a pig and certainly not worth the money.

Room 122 The faucet was broken so we had no hot water. Strange jacuzzi in room, the toilet paper holder was all rusty. Look at the shade in room

The price and location great They advertise breakfast, but it only had English muffins, stale cereal and warm coffee- the room wasn’t cleaned well.

We stayed for 5 nights checking in Sunday and out on Friday. We chose this hotel for the nicer looking continental breakfast, price and location. The full breakfast advertised was not available until our 4th day. There was cereal, toast and watered down juice the other days. We were told their shipment didn't come in. Mind you we are surrounded by grocery stores and a Walmart is a half mile down the road. Management did not take the initiative to get what was needed themselves to take care of the few guests that were staying. The website says there is an iron and ironing board in all rooms, there was none. I would have packed differently if I knew this wasn't available. The room was clean and we got fresh towels daily which was a plus but the floor was never cleaned. I had to get slippers to wear around the room because the floor was filthy. There were no drawers or a closet to put our clothes so we lived out of our luggage all week which was frustrating. The shower had a terrible squealing noise that couldn't be explained or stopped. The carpeting in the hallway and on the stairs was absolutely disgusting! I couldn't look down, it made me sick to look at it. I was stunned how dirty it was. I've never seen a carpet so stained and loaded with debris and hair in all my years of traveling. I never saw anyone with a vacuum. They desperately need to replace it. The pool was fine but it was dark and dingy in the room and was very uninviting. Will not stay again.

Good location for Rehobooth beach. Price is right. Russell the front desk clerk is great!! Don’t forget to try his pink lemonade!! Ample parking. Breakfast on Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday there was hardly anything. Toast, English muffin, or cereal ( fruit loops or Raisin Bran.

Room was nice and clean, great location right on Coastal Hwy

The hallway carpet were so dirty and smelly and they barely have anything for breakfast… etc

The staff was friendly There were no amenities in the room as stated in the booking. No coffee pot or hair dryer in the room, etc Not enough towels. Breakfast was nothing like what was stated. All in all it was okay but would not book there again.

Friday we got up, I went for coffee and was informed they had no creamer for the coffee, another guest was there and was like what? I said yeah they had no creamer. so I went back to the room, I went to use my swipe card to get in and the door was not even locked. it was broken since we checked in. They moved us to a different room. The exhaust fan in the bathroom of the new room did not work, but the entry door did actually work and was locked when we left. when we returned back to the hotel Friday evening both our swipe cards were not working, went to the front desk and they reprogrammed new cards for us. Saturday was the same issue, we went out for the day and when we returned our keys again were not opening the door, went down and were given now our 3rd set of swipe cards. My daughter wanted to go use the indoor pool which also included a hot tub. The hot tub had so much of the paint peeling I told her not to get in. The cement around the pool was also very cracked. Bad experience!!

The rooms were very accomodating for people with pets. I appreciated that they gave us 2 rooms that were close to each other and the front door. There were some staff that were very nice and easy to work with. I appreciated the older gentlemen that worked in the evenings. He gave us our welcome bag since we didn't receive one when we first checked in. The rooms were fine with the exception of the carpet; however, they noted it at check in and apologized. The breakfast was minute and was often out of several items. Several days we had to wait for food to defrost in order to have an english muffin or toast. There was hardly anything to eat or drink during breakfast (one morning the juice machine was turned off and the waffe batter wasn't even made - this was at 8 a.m.) The reception area was nice; however there were instances during the day where staff was utilizing the space to build furniture which made it difficult to use the space during the day time.

The staff was very friendly and nice. Russell did great at helping us. The property was disgusting. The carpet had caked up dirt. The rooms smelled like mold and mildew. There was black mold all over the ceilings, doors and floors . The bathrooms were disgusting. The curtains hanging in the shower were full of mold and stains.The cleaning was horrible. The most nastiest I’ve ever seen I will not be staying here again. Beware if you come to this property, you will need to clean yourself.

Terrible

We only stayed one night, but the hotel was just fine. The price was right and we overall enjoyed the short stay.

No elevator even if it's 2 floors if you have lounge you have to take it up the steps

A chest or dresser would have been better. Also a small closet would have been nice to have, to keep things organized. The breakfast was a little disappointing.
