We have stayed there before so we chose it again. We were able to get a second night as well.

It worked well enough to be a place to sleep

Grand Rising everyone. This motel is in great location. Easy assess to outlets across street. Everything is walking distance. The beach itself is 10 minutes from hotel. Easy directions to everything. Staff. we’re exceptional. The gentleman at first desk went above and beyond. Grant it is an old building but NO BUGS ! Everything clean! Free breakfast great. Can’t wait to go again

Didn't eat the breakfast, raining and would have had to walk in rain to other hotel for continental breakfast. Ate at Cracker barrel. Rooms could really use upgrading, carpet unsafe for someone with balance issues or using a cane. No coffee/ filters but a coffee maker, no amenities like mini soaps or shampoos in bathroom like most hotels offer. Ice machine did not work.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The gentleman who worked in the front office let me stay in the room an extra 45 minutes once I found out my Uber ride had cancelled on me.

The freezer of the refrigerator had packets of food left by a previous guest. The ice bucket had opened coffee packages and other trash left by previous guests. Outside, where I parked my car, there were many cigarette butts and tooth flossing gadgets on the ground. Bath tub was dirty. I stayed two nights. No maid service until someone stopped by 1/2 hour before my checkout time and asked if I needed anything. No, I did not need any of this person's services at that point. The front door had obviously been pried open at some point. Worked OK now. Breakfast was OK. Tiny spoons made eating cereal a challenge. I guess you get what you pay for.

The room stunk and there was no soap when I took a shower

Our room was filthy. The swimming pool was unavailable as well as the continental breakfast. We were told to go to the Econo Lodge for swimming and breakfast next door because the Rodeway Inn was closing at the end of September. Apparently, they own that establishment also. The desk clerk lost our request for a first-floor room and reluctantly gave us a suite and locked the bedroom door. I would also mention that the bathtub drain was almost completely clogged. I believe that most of these concerns were lack of concern due to the imminent closure of the inn. All in all, it was an unpleasant vacation experience. Thank You for attention.

No phone or wake up call, television snowy. Picture light out in living room, smelled of cigarette smoke and I requested non smoking. Clerk said place was full when I asked for a different room while place looked half full !it was terrible !

I like the the suites I didn’t like the fact when I first gotten to the property,The first staff in the reception area try too give me a dirty suite blood on the sheets the air conditioner was broken,I ask for another room he told me they didn’t have any better rooms because they all look like room 119 his name was Sergio.When I went back the third time the Second Gentleman was very helpful gave me another suite that I was very happy about.

This is a bare bones hotel, don't expect anything fancy, but it's great for anyone needing just a place to stay and don't care for anything more than that. The TV worked but picture quality was bad, you could see the lights behind the screen. It did however have an HDMI port so any video game system or laptop can connect no problem. It also had RGB connections in the back if need be.

The space of the room The bathroom was dirty, there was hair in the tub. There was brown stuff on the shelves in the shower. The microwave was dirty and there was a piece of chicken nugget left in the microwave. The bed sheets were not changed because there was still dirt at the bottom of the bed under the sheets. The room had a mildew smell. The only reason we stayed was because we had no choice.

Room was not very clean and outdated with tears in the old carpets, stained up couch ,cracks in sheetrock in bathroom. Part of the swing bar door guard was missing so it was not usable, rusted refrigerator, dirty windows and mirrors. Staff was friendly and did bring us towels.

Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The receptionist was rude and unhelpful from the start. He first offered us Room 100, which had a terrible smell, was dirty, and was full of flies. After asking for another room, we were told to return later, but no one called us as promised. We were eventually given Room 105, which also had many flies. Despite reporting the issue, nothing was done. Housekeeping never serviced the room during our stay, and the beds remained untouched. The breakfast was poor, and communication about our early checkout was confusing. The front desk was unattended at night, and phone calls to the posted number went unanswered. To make matters worse, many rooms appeared vacant, yet we were repeatedly told no other rooms were available. Overall, poor customer service, lack of cleanliness, flies in the room, no housekeeping, and a disappointing breakfast made this a very unpleasant stay. I would not recommend this hotel. I would highly recommend people to read the review and then book this hotel. Very disappointing stay. Customer service was extremely poor. The young receptionist was rude, unprofessional, and lacked basic courtesy. We were initially given a dirty room with a bad odor and flies, and when we requested another room, his attitude was unhelpful and disrespectful. The room we eventually accepted still had many flies. Housekeeping never cleaned the room during our stay, and the bed linens were never changed. The property did not appear clean or well maintained. The breakfast was poor, unhealthy, and unappealing. Many guests came in, looked at the food, and left without eating. Overall, poor customer service, unclean rooms, bad odors, flies, lack of housekeeping, and a disappointing breakfast made this one of the worst hotel experiences we have had. I would not recommend staying here.
