Disappointing stay. The room was dirty, the floor was sticky, and the TV was broken. There was also a strong antiseptic/chemical smell that made the room unpleasant. I expected a clean, functional, and comfortable room, but this did not meet basic hotel standards.

The staff at check in was extremely rude. He informed me my reservation was cancelled and the property was sold out. After he figured out what happened, I was able to go to my room. The ceiling in my room had water damage from a leak in the room above mine and the CA was extremely loud. I only stayed in the room for 5 hours before driving home. Location was what I was looking for and will more than likely stay again due to location, nothing else.

The smell in the room was really strong and unpleasant (like a mold vs. vinegar battle) Balcony was unusable and covered in bird poop. Vending machines - just don’t use them. The worst part, though, was the beds which were so uncomfortable I was in physical neck and back pain for days and I’m not really a picky bed person. I guess you get what you pay for.

The property and hotel is run down. The walls have discoloration, the shower has signs of wear and when you walked up the stairs there was a leak that would sprinkle on you. The elevator was broken. The breakfast was minimal. Overall this hotel needs an update and a deep clean.

Dirty, smelly room, if fact my daughter would not stay there , she went home instead.

This hotel looks nothing like the pictures. We showed up for a night stay. Our first room smelled like smoke so bad we needed to move. The next room was disgustingly dirty, dirty walls, broken furniture, holes in the bathroom door, broken lock on the door, broken tv, holes in the ceiling with parts falling down. The elevator was broken so we needed to carry our luggage. It was unacceptable with how inaccurate the pictures made this hotel look compared to what it actually was.

The room was very outdated and not clean. You get what you pay for.

It’s a dated hotel, but the beds are comfy. This room is really dated and needs many updates. For an example, the toilet is super low to the ground, very weak flush ability. I’d be worried “things” won’t go down. The kitchenette floor is in rough shape. I’m aware it’s peak season so they can’t put the room oos for updates, but these issues didn’t just happen. I was comfortable and happy with the room, but I’m a low key guy, I don’t need much. But for some travelers this may not go too well with them.

Very happy with this hotel and would stay again.

You get what you pay for here. We surprisingly enjoyed the breakfast, as there was a little more than we expected that was offered, but there were some flies and gnats flying around in our room on both nights, there was a lot of wear and tear on the walls and in the bathroom, and the beds were not made well on the second night, which was shocking. How does a hotel housekeeper not know how to make the beds?? This was the cheapest hotel we found around the DE beaches, but we will not be booking it again because it made us too uncomfortable staying there.

We had to switch rooms. I'm disabled and this was a huge expenditure of energy. There were puddles of filthy water everywhere. Stairs were constantly wet and slippery. The elevator was out of order. The pool area was nice except getting to it you were walking under power washers dripping filthy water on you. Complete waste of money. The only reason we didn't leave is we had an issue with our vehicle and had to wait for a part to come in.

Staff was helpful

Rooms were not very clean , beds very uncomfortable , ceiling in two spots fell down as we slept !
-
They had zero plans to fix the broken elevator and they start knocking on your door before checkout.

The place itself is very poorly kept. When I saw the reviews I thought that it was just an exaggeration, but I was wrong. It was very very bad ! The price matches what you get. That’s all I have to say.

Should be condemned. Blatant safety and health violations. Manage doesn’t care whatsoever. Couldn’t get our room cleaned for 3 nights. Would rather sleep on the beach with the homeless next trip!

The room was disgusting. I would never stay there again. The place is unkept.
