Room was very small, no desk, no chair, no coffee machine, no plastic cups. Definitely not handicapped accessible. Shower was very small as was the bathroom overall. Definitely in need of some significant upgrades. Good news is the location on 1A is excellent and there is ample parking. Crystal Restaurant is across the street and very convenient for breakfast and lunch. Price is reasonable and if you are just looking for a place to sleep, I mean you are there for the beach and everything Rehoboth Beach has to offer, you would do well to stay at Ocean Glass.

When we arrived at the hotel outside the checking in time frame (before) we requested a bathroom after driving for 5 hours; the attendant denied the use of the bathroom, saying they did not have one for the clients (paying clients). Very disappointing.

The place was really nice and clean. Only gripes are the club across the street was load most of the night and the toilet is way to close to the sink. I’m 5’5” and my knees were up against the bathroom sink which sits in front of the toilet. If your any taller then I am then you will have issues sitting on the toilet lol

Renovated property, used to be a 1 star motel with a good coat of paint bar across the street is extremely loud

The room is serviceable, but the cleanliness isn’t the best. It’s not rundown but the sheets were very gritty; the bathroom was also not thoroughly cleaned and there were traces of mold on the tub. The beds are very firm. There’s also a lack of outlets, so if you have more than one device to plug in it’s not convenient. The outlets were also incredibly loose- a small shift pulled my plug out of the outlet. The vanity is also incredibly small- we stayed in a double queen and we struggled with getting ready with only 2 people in the room. There is also not a lot of privacy; we could very clearly hear the people above us and the road outside. The staff was very nice and the parking was convenient, but it was not what was expected.

Did some of the walls need to be painted to cover small blemishes they had fixed, yeah, but that’s not really a problem. Did the back door that led to an open public area not have blinds meaning anyone could look into our room at anytime, yeah, but no worries we draped a blanket over it. What was a problem? The fact that the toilet hadn’t been cleaned from the previous guest and was dirty. The fact that our feet and socks had turned black from walking on the floor, meaning they hadn’t mopped. The fact that hours after we were in our room, when we went to leave, we found out our door DIDNT ACTUALLY LOCK. We notified the woman at the desk immediately who called an emergency maintenance visit. This visit took almost two hours and resulted in not only our lock being replaced but our door being taken off the hinges and sawed down to be able to close properly. Also, something to note about this upgraded suite, this room is directly connected to the front office. Like literally connected to the front office. The only thing separating you is a door with blinds. We could hear CLEAR conversations between employees and guests as if they were in our room sitting next to us. Meaning, the employees could hear us in what is supposed to be a private space. Honestly, we could have overlooked the dirty floor and toilet. Yes, a hotel should ensure they clean properly between visits but it’s not the biggest deal.

Room (double queen) was large, clean and updated with nice beachy theme. Location was good, we walked to beach (15 min. or so) and restaurants/bandstand each day and took 1 Uber easily. It is close to a bike path and the highway too. Staff were very nice. No coffee in rooms or lobby, no breakfast (photo on Booking.com is old), no pool at this property but there is one nearby one can use. Room was very nice, but being a beach location could use a bit more hooks, etc. for wet and sandy items.

Staff was friendly & responsive “Cottage” was very small. The bathroom had very little space to move between the sink & toilet. We each hit our heads multiple times on the ceiling. There was no coffee pot, paper towels, bags in trash cans or kitchen towels.

The outside area was nice and that it had a full kitchen The turn to get into the property was terrible, it was very dirty and there was trash left over. The floor was soft in some spots and was weird to walk around. It smelled musty in there. The bar across the street had loud music playing all night .

Quite at nights

When we checked in we were given a different room than what I booked. When I talked to front office I was told it was an upgrade(given a kitchen we had no use for tiny tiny bathroom and muchhh smaller bed room) I said I do not want it and was told they don’t have the room I reserved!! When I said that doesn’t make sense I RESERVED that room they said I can show you what you reserved and you can choose. It was nicer than the “upgrade”. Didn’t not like I had to go and argue with rude staff to get the room I booked. Fresh bed had sand in it, the humidity in the room was so high everything we brought was damp after two nights. Bed was smaller than a queen and extremely uncomfortable. Bathroom was nice. Liked the tv and having a mini fridge. Will not be staying again!

Our room was cozy, enough room for 2 people. Staff were willing to help us out when we needed something! I would stay again!

Solo traveler, passing thru, looking for something affordable. No frills about this place. Would like to mention the bed is too big for the size of the room and is very cramped. The humidity in the room was terrible, bumped down the temp of AC and froze. Woke up about every 3 hrs to fix the room temp. Sheets are very rough. Beach motel.

Loved this cute place. Our single room was tiny, but sufficient for one night.
