Renaissance Reno Downtown Hotel & Spa

This was an amazing stay. Friendly people, very clean facility, good food, and the softest beds! If I’m ever back this way, definitely worth staying here again!

Great stay. Just annoying to be woken up by a crazy loud smoke alarm system ‘test’. We had been warned about it but still a bummer.

The hotel was pleasant and clean, and the staff was quite friendly. However, corners were cut in the room design in order to fit in more rooms. The bathroom in particular was poorly designed with corners cut to save money and space. It was just small things that said “cheap,” such as the thinnest toilet paper imaginable.

Awesome hotel. Nice lobby and friendly staff. Chris at the desk was great. Our suite was spectacular.

The entire hotel was very clean and the room was also. The restaurant on the property is excellent.

I called the front desk to ask for shower chair for my mom, she’s handicapped, they gave me a shower table for baby, it’s way too big in the tub, I called again, but the girl who’s very rude. I do not want to go back this hotel again, do not recommend it

Great location

Great location. The Shore restaurant was fantastic. Amazing espresso martini, good food and loved the view sitting outside on the terrace overlooking the river. I also had a Riverview room which was nice. The bartenders at Bundox Boccee were not friendly to me at all. They acted like I was bothering them by needing to make me a drink. The pool is a bit lackluster for a large hotel. I think an upgrade of the pool would make a huge difference. When I checked out, I got a coffee from coffee and comics. The coffee was great, and the girl at the register was a sweetheart.

Nice place. Only complaint was the pool was open 9-8. We wanted an early or late swim and we’re not able to use it.

Rooms are very funky with terrible lighting. There is virtually on light overhead and a very strange light above the night stand. The room has older carpet that has an odor and towels and linens are not Marriott quality. I would not stay at this property again.

Everything was really good

Beautiful property! The restaurants is one of my favorite spots in Reno. The view of the river is beautiful. Great amenities and easy access to everything

Property was nice First of all when it’s windy, the umbrellas need to be put away by the pool. One umbrella pole fell on my head while trying to lounge. I still have a bump. Second of all, security approached me at my hotel room door in an unprofessional manner. He didn’t identify himself at all and he made me feel unsafe as he was yelling that I would have to leave the property if I play music on a Saturday at 5 or 6 PM. He was so rude. I would never stay here again. Also, fan in bathroom did not work or there was none.

Clean and good sized rooms. Bed / pillows comfortable and room has all the amenities to be expected. Pocket door to bathroom that doesn’t really shut nor block out light. Air conditioner is noisy and parking is pricey ($20+ a night), although convenient. Located right on the river with easy access to the river walk.

Great staff, clean hotel, and great staff at the hotel restaurant. I definitely recommend.

Friendly staff . Rooms are clean

we had a mixup once we got to our room, we drove three hours and we’re supposed to have a corner King suite it was my husband‘s birthday, and when we got there, they put us in a two room king and when I told them this is the wrong room and I told him I could show them my proof on Expedia. They said there was nothing they could do but give me free breakfast. They did offer free breakfast, which was helpful but this was very disappointing. Seeing it was my husband‘s birthday and I paid extra for the corner suite with the big bathtub and we drove three hours and that’s not what I got and all the rooms are sold out, and there was nothing that they can do but overall the day was OK very convenient location. And the river is beautiful.

Quiet and comfortable

Location The room was dirty, and the bathroom was full of hairs. The sink was clogged. I purchased a charcuterie meal for $20 and the crackers were old and fluffy.
