Front desk was very unprofessional and unhelpful and had a badnattituded

The stay was just okay. Definitely could have been better. It took almost 45 minutes to get checked in. Even though I had a reservation, they still had to find me a room. I had to wait while other guests that showed up after me got keys and rooms right away. The room was decent. About what we expected. Clean and comfortable. We did request an iron, but got a “we’ll look for one” response and nothing ever showed up. Not even a follow up to say they couldn’t find one. I also requested another blanket and pillow, but was told they only had extra sheets sets. The breakfast was good. Pretty standard continental options. Although one 2 slot toaster for 15 people trying to warm up bagels was a bit annoying. Like I said just a okay stay. Won’t be a fist choice next time we’re in the area though.

When we first arrived, neither set of room keys worked. After returning to the front desk, one of the keys was reprogrammed and worked, but unfortunately, the room we were assigned had a broken A/C and was extremely hot. To their credit, the staff immediately moved us to another room, which was much better. Later during our stay, we experienced additional issues with our room keys. On one occasion, we were unable to enter our room because the door's locking mechanism malfunctioned. Although the lock would unlock electronically, the internal mechanism wasn't engaging, preventing the door from opening. After 15–20 minutes and multiple attempts, we were finally able to get it open. Another inconsistency was the breakfast. The available items varied from day to day, and many items were unavailable even when we arrived early. On one day during our stay, breakfast was completely unavailable. Overall, our stay wasn't terrible, but these recurring inconveniences may affect other guests' experience.

Extremely out of date rooms and technology. Also, the bed is so uncomfortable that it gave my wife and I pain for weeks.

I would not book this place again. The facility including the shuttle van are not well maintained. The carpet in the room was stained. The room had a weird smell, and I found several hairs on things. There were loose tiles, and the toilet handle was almost falling off. The night staff were not very welcoming. Breakfast was included, but the offerings were slim.

It is dated and a little unkempt on the inside. The outside is nice. I would probably stay at the Hilton next door instead.

Shuttle from the airport was harrowing. Driver said it was last run for the night; he seemed to want to do it in record time while talking on his cell phone. He interrupted his personal call to take a call from the hotel then went back to his call. He was also texting. THEN, he held his phone back to me to read the text in the photo out loud for him! I told him it was illegal to use his phone while driving. We hit construction and came to a very slow merge. He was swearing about the delay and made another call. I was furious about his lack of professionalism. I told the front desk that I would need a shuttle in the morning and asked if the same person would be driving. Yes. I explained our ride from the airport and asked for an Uber instead. I was told they couldn’t approve that. I booked the shuttle. When I got to the room, there were no linens to make up the sleeper sofa, so I told my two kiddos to change for bed while I went back to desk to get those. Back up to the room, pulled out the sleeper sofa, found the bed frame was broken and it was not usable. Made up the couch because switching rooms at this point was not an option. Next morning, no body wash in shower, so I used shampoo. I went to desk to get body wash for kids and mentioned the broken sleeper sofa. I also told the new front desk person about the drive from the airport, and this person offered to book an Uber on the hotel’s dime. THAT was reason I rated poor and not terrible. The Uber was great. Never again

The overall property was reasonable for the amount of time we stayed. You can tell its an older hotel, and some things need to be upgraded, but it was nice for what we needed.
-
Room was a little expensive for a hotel that needed a lot of work. Tape to hold down carpet, walls chipped, dents in room walls, room card kept having problems so I had to get new ones. Some of the staff members were purposely hiding from customers with issues so they wouldn’t have to deal with them. Staff would give out fake names so when they called the manager to complain no one would know who they were talking about. They were overbooked, when I was going through lobby they had customers complaining because they booked through their site and were told they had to go somewhere else. Overall I wouldn’t book with them again.

Fire alarm bleep went on all night for our two nights on the ground floor which prevented rest. It was mentioned that the problem has been ongoing for a while - days or weeks. Shocking that they charge over 500 dollar for two nights and cannot get that resolved for their guests or pergolas safety

Couldn't open the windows, the screen in my bedroom was bent and I didn't bugs getting in so I didn't open the window. Couldn't access everything I wanted on a TV. It always smelled in the hallways and stairways. Security didn't do their jobs and get the bad people out of their parking lot, so we will never stay here again for safety reasons

The hotel is very outdated, rooms not very clean, mattress on the couch is too old , dirty, with metal springs sticking out. Halls very dirty. Do Not Stay There. Old decapitated property.

Very disappointed. Rooms looked nice from a distance, but up close, not so much. Continental breakfast was practically non existent. Just overall very disappointing.

Unacceptable!

The staff was helpful and the room had a complete kitchen, but showed signs of wear and tear- chunks missing from the “plaster” (board) in several places and around the door frame to the bathroom. The location was extremely convenient for access to both downtown and attractions like the Chihuly Gardens (Don’t miss them!), but there are no restaurants within walking distance and only a few that are within 3 miles. That said, if you like wonderfully prepared Italian food served by a knowledgeable and attentive waitstaff, don’t miss Sansonina on Ranier Ave- an easy drive. We will probably go back the last night of our vacation 2 weeks from now.

Location is fairly central to shops, mall and freeways. Free washer and dryer usage The Bad (in no particular order) 1st room offered was very stinky. Apparently it was a room used for guests with pets. The clerk later admitted that those rooms tend to smell. We didn't have any pets with us so why were we offered this room in the first place? We were able to switch to another room. Later the next night, I happened to witness a guest check in and was offered that same room. He came back to the room desk to ask for a new room. The carpet in the hall way to the room had bumps (not evenly installed) all the way down the hall. Not just a small section, but the entire way down the hall - about 300 feet. Key card kept demagnetizing. One card would work the first time and then not work. Replace it. Now the 2nd card wouldn't work. Replaced that one. Next day, the 1st one that was replaced wouldn't work. Apparently, this was a common thing here. The clerk went through the rekey process several times on one of the cards. Other guests also commented about the card issue. Security issue. They didn't check for ID or confirmed the guest name when asked to rekey the key card. That just goes to confirm that the rekeying is a common thing. The IT closet with security cameras and other IT equipment was wide opened at different times of the day and night. It was in a hallway before the elevators and out of sight of the front desk. Ran out of food for breakfast No space for more

It's an older hotel, so keep that in mind. That being said, my room was clean and comfortable. Honestly, I'll likely be back a it's a fair rate for a good room. I would recommend it for a quick stay.

The staff person was excellent. The rooms were confused by Expedia and she promptly comped us an extra room, which was amazing. That said the stay was fine, it's comfortable bed...But the room was pretty gloomy and outdated as was the rest of the property. I'm not completely opposed to staying here again, since there wasn't horrible, we weren't in the room's much and the price was right, but I would definitely look for something else first.
