We stayed here while my boyfriend was recovering from surgery, and unfortunately the experience became more stressful than it needed to be. Because he had just undergone surgery, we had to make decisions about extending our stay based on how he was feeling each day. We weren’t extending because it was convenient or because we wanted to stay longer we were dealing with a legitimate medical recovery and didn’t know from one day to the next whether he would be comfortable and safe enough to return home. Every time we needed to extend, we did our best to handle it in the morning. The front desk employee made it very clear that he was annoyed by this. When we extended our stay again, he told me, “FYI, we’re sold out tomorrow just so you can search someplace else.” I understand that hotels have availability limitations, but the way it was communicated came across as rude and dismissive, especially considering the circumstances. What made this more frustrating was that we were already dealing with the stress of caring for someone immediately after surgery. A little compassion and understanding from the front desk would have gone a long way. The room itself was fine, but the customer service completely changed my impression of the hotel. When someone is staying at your property because they’re trying to safely care for a recovering family member, they shouldn’t feel like they’re inconveniencing the staff.

The price for the room itself was very good for a Westin quality property. BUT.. the $15 per night parking and no free breakfast but a $23 Breakfast Buffet put it into a whole different overall price range. I need to do better research when booking. The pool was closed but all the other ameneties were good!

The staff at the front desk and the staff with housekeeping were nice and accommodating. The view from pur suite was really nice, and the overall layout and space of our suite was nice as well. The hotel is dated and needs to be updated. The charging ports in the suite are outdated, the tiling in the bathroom shower stall and carpet need replacing..as well as the bathroom fixtures. There was trash in the garage by the elevator that was never cleaned at all during our stay, and there was trash in some parking spots in the garage as well. I will say that the garage was well lit, which I did appreciate. Overall the property was decent

When I reserved booking.com said my breakfast was included and I end up paying $58 fir our breakfast

The stat was ok place was clean and the food was decent. Booked this place for the pool alone just to find out when we got there it was closed for “renovations”. They need to tell us that prior to booking an expensive hotel bc I would have gone somewhere else

Loved the convenience to Dulles airport and Reston. Comfortable bed and pillows.

Check in was a breeze, agents and staff were pleasant and helpful.

The room and property were extraordinarily clean. The bed was soft and comfortable and near good restaurants.

Extra charge for parking

Maybe there were on renovation, no pool or sauna was available, and not even help for parking. They offered free parking but it was designed for valet, so very inconvenient for self parking, particularly when entering the property. Their breakfast (charging at $23 at the hotel) was terrible, worse, definitely not better, than any cheap model continental breakfast.

Very clean and attractive. Was a good value.
