didn't eat didn't want it after looking at the place didn't want know food there

Room was clean. There was no tv remote in the room. The phone didn’t work. Asked for an 8:00 wake up call. My cousin thankfully called at 8:40 on my cell phone. I was there to attend a funeral which started at 10:00. The funeral was 47 miles away in Raleigh. Nevertheless we missed the funeral. That was terrible!

Exceptional

Loved the special needs bathroom. Location was perfect. Breakfast could be a bit better. It was ok.

First time in this area and I felt safe and at home. I love the staff they are so sweet and helpful

Ok, I get it, its adequate at the price point. Bottom line it worked but I would question if I would use another facility in the future.

Floor was sticky

I tried two different rooms. The first was not clean. Bed not made dirty towels in bathroom. The 2nd room has a leaky toilet, cockroaches crawling around and the air wasn't working. I just found out I don't get my money back. I will never use this site again. Could have at least given me a credit. I also have pictures. So extremely disappointed.

Bedsheet cover with stains. Human hair was found on the bedsheet. Bathroom ceil moldy.

The room was clean but hotel is in need of updates. The hand soap and the conditioning shampoo were the same and the shower gel was empty. The toilet ran and the shower dripped all night.

I’ve never been talked to at any hotel I’ve stayed at the way I was talked to at this one! It wasn’t the owners but the housekeepers especially the one that claims she was in charge! Steady walking by our room talking crap to us and about us, cussing at us bc we won’t moving fast enough for her! I will be contacting the owners to make them aware bc people like her and nasty attitudes don’t need to be working with the public!

Nothing Rooms wasn't clean very outdated and old breakfast was misleading horrible

I stayed here almost a month and I had no issues until this last week! The housekeepers were rude to me accusing me of smoking in a non smoking room when all it was is my scent warmer plugged in the wall which lets off diff smells plus I’m pregnant so why would I want cigarette smoke around my unborn child! I will be going to another place bc they told me I had to get out by the 25th due to “the smell”! I don’t think I’ll return due to the negative accusations made towards me during a rough time in my life!

I wasn't expecting much when I booked this hotel, but I expected a bit more. Came to Roanoke for a family event and stayed just two nights. Upon entry to our room, there were about 3 or 4 flies buzzing around. For the next couple days, flies seemed to be coming from nowhere, despite getting rid of what we saw. The room needs significant upgrades and renovations. The bed sheets were dirty with hair and stains, proving that the room wasn't cleaned properly. The shower curtain also had stains on it. There were four of us in the room, but only three towels and two wash rags. There was no iron, but I was able to get one from the front desk. The room and hallway smelled smoky, despite having a non-smoking room. Staying in our room, we just didn't feel clean. The hotel is old and they need to renovate. The rooms need to be better cleaned. If you're in a bind and need to stay somewhere for the night, this would be ok. Anything above that, this is a no for me.
