Quality Inn Tanglewood

Hotel is conveniently located. Bed was comfortable and sheets/bedding were clean. That is where positives ended. Rooms are very worn and in need of maintenance. Bathroom door knob screws were loose. Shower caulking was missing in places and looked moldy in other places. Shower screws were loose. Bath curtain rod screws were loose and rod was falling down. Desk chair was missing both screws on left side and dangerous to sit in. Mirror light was burnt out. Closet had one hanger. Couch and carpet was very worn and dirty looking.

The degree of unprofessionalism was shocking Absolutely disgusting. This wasn’t a bad hotel room—it was a health hazard masquerading as a place to sleep. The room reeked of filth and was infested with roaches. The kind of disgusting where you don’t want to touch anything, put your bags down, or even breathe too deeply. And somehow, the staff managed to be almost as nasty as the room. Rude, dismissive, and completely unapologetic. Customer service was nonexistent. I have stayed in some questionable places, but this one was on another level. I wouldn’t sleep here again if they paid me. If you’re considering booking this place, don’t. Keep your money, keep your sanity, and keep yourself away from this dump.

Staff was nice and accommodating. The room was great: comfy beds, excellent storage.

Front desk staff was excellent. Location excellent. Bed comfortable and clean. Bathroom was up to date. It had shower for wheelchair as well as regular shower. Bathroom could have used bleach in the corners and shower floors. Room air-conditioning had old cigarette smell. Sofa needed to be replaced. The tile floors needed a better cleaning fluid they were very slimy.

Man at check-in was not friendly, but females were friendly. The bathroom floor was dirty, mold was noted around tub, and the toilet seat was falling off. The man at the desk handed my husband a screw driver to fix the toilet seat. We will not be returning to this hotel.

Exceptional price for a very clean and comfortable room.

Would not recommend and will not stay there again.

Price and location The bed wasn't very comfortable..I found a strangers hair on a folded towel, and only one tiny bar of soap was supplied.

The room smelled like smoke and the shower leaked onto the carpet in the next room

Tile is slip hazard on outside walkway. This is not tile for outside use!!! My fiance fell while we were there. Noone really cared. Bathroom lighting leaves something to be desired. Had to open the curtain to get light. Not an ideal stay, but cheap and good location. Won't be back.

I liked the location. The hotel was very dark inside and dimly lit. The bathroom light didn't work and I had to buy a flashlight. When we told the front desk about the light in the bathroom, he said that was normal for all of their bathrooms. Very old hotel and desperately needs to be updated. We left after the first night and checked in elsewhere. We were told we would get refunded for the rest of our stay in 24-48 hours. We finally got it after two weeks of calling and fighting for it.

Didn't know that you had to put a $100 deposit down. Pillows went flat once you laid your head on them. There was mold in the shower and a few hairs that were not mine. The road was busy all night. So it was hard to get a good night's rest.

Towels had stains on them, room was outdated and dark. Smelled a little musty too in the two rooms we had.

Location Well the room had an odor to it, the fridge was not cold & the toilet seat was broke but we fixed it. The breakfast food was terrible.

Breakfast ending at 9 on a Saturday is too early. We are on vacation and would like to sleep in a little on a Saturday

Staff was great. Bed was comfortable. Plugins on both sides of the bed. Had a fridge and microwave. The room part was clean. Only place I have stayed in that provided a shower seat if needed for mobility issues. Bathroom was not clean. Had to clean a used bar of soap out of the shower. Parking lot was dirty with cigarette butts. Not really the hotels fault - but people were smoking right outside our room and the smoke was drifting into the room.
