The lady’s at front desk was so nice and sweet

It was a great place to stop and rest along our journey.

I stay at Tru hotels often. Unfortunately, this one was sub standard compared to others I have stayed. The staff were very rigid. The breakfast options were limited not to mention they were out of things. I definitely won't stay at this location again.

A great no nonsense place to stay on our road trips - have stayed before and will return again!

Room was clean and So Spacious and the bed was comfortable.

Coffee was bad. Food was barely acceptable. Parking was fine. Staff was mostly unfriendly and unhelpful. Rooms were not well equipped. They called it a "minimalist" approach. It was not my taste.

Perfect for our quick overnight stay.

I did not like the size of the room and the fact that there were no bed side lighting. Just EXTREMELY BRIGHT overhead can lights. The room had no microwave and the smallest refrigerator i have ever seen situated under a luggage rack. it was hard to reach. No drawers for clothing and I felt like with the lighting that I was in a hospital room. I will NEVER stay at a Tru again. The room felt cold and sterile. Did not like at all!!

We stayed just a brief time while on a road trip but was very clean and staff was very welcoming! Very cute lobby!

Very friendly staff, convenient location to airport, room was clean, quiet and the breakfast was nice.

The refrigerator was not working well enough to assure that my medication would not spoil. I asked the associate at the desk to have it replaced and was refused. She offered to take my medication to a lobby refrigerator. That was an absurd solution. The medication is very expensive and prescribed to me. I am not handing it over to a complete stranger to put in a fridge outside of my control and without a lock where anyone could access it and possibly tamper or steal the medication. She said that many guests use the lobby fridge. All this tells me is that many refrigerators are not working properly.

The bed was horribly uncomfortable, neither one of us slept. The room was huge but empty. Outside of the bed, there was 1 desk chair. Mini fridge but no microwave. Breakfast had potential, but it was very busy.

It seemed to be a new property so everything is nice and bright.

The location was directly off the interstate and within a 10 minute drive to downtown Roanoke.

I have no way of knowing how the property looked, how the hotel staff was, or how the hotel was, because I was unable to make my trip because of circumstances out of my control. I tried canceling my trip two weeks prior to my check-in date, and was told I would not be getting a refund, even though I had purchased the insurance for a refund when booking. I spoke with the party that I booked the hotel through, telling them what had come up and why I couldn't make the trip. They reached out to the hotel to try and get my refund, and was told that I would not get one. I then called the hotel myself and explained to them why I had to cancel my booking, and that I was doing it in plenty of time. I was told that I would not be getting it back since I booked through a 3rd party. I will say that I also had other two other bookings at two other hotels for this same trip, and both of those were refunded with no problems at all. Again, I did not cancel because I wanted to. I had circumstances come up out of my control. I have stayed at other Tru hotels, and they were very nice and pleasant. I wish I could've stayed at this one (especially since they got my money anyway), but alas, I didn't, and I don't ever plan to either. My advice to anyone booking a hotel with them, be careful, even when buying insurance in case of a cancellation. They don't honor it.

I love staying at the Tru Hilton hotels. They are always so nice and clean and of course you get a great breakfast too!

Staff was friendly, explaining the amenities. Room was clean and comfortable.

Hotel is pretty new rooms not fancy but neat and clean . Staff was very friendly breakfast was good coffee was really good ( and 24:7 available) convenient to 81 .. only thing , the rooms are not carpeted so you can hear people walking above you . It didn’t bother me at all but heads up if you’re a light sleeper . Good value for an overnight stay
