TownePlace Suites Pittsburgh Airport/Robinson Township

I recently stayed at this hotel for an event in the area. This place was chosen due to proximity to the event I was attending and the availability of shopping and dining. I stayed six nights, Staff was friendly and available throughout the night and stay. I did not like that the room smelled due to the drain in the shower ( catch must needed to be cleaned) This room offered a small fridge, and small electric cooktop. Which is great for cooking small meals. Be sure to clean items before using them. I also didn’t give high ratings because one of the secure doors was often rigged to stay open for people to come out to smoke. I’m sure that there are individuals who use this place for long term stay however this could be seen as a security risk. While I didn’t feel unsafe I could see this as problem for other guests. I didn’t utilize the pool or the gym however I did see families utilizing these amenities. The breakfast was ok, it had the usual options. Nothing over the top. I wouldn’t book here as a first choice, but definitely an option due to the location of the facility.

The shower did not regulate temperature. Told the staff on four different occasions, but problem never resolved. Bathroom sink stopped up. Bedding was uncomfortable. Coffee maker needs upgrading. Back patio (common area) of hotel not presentable.

The staff were so sweet and helpful the pool area was great hot tub was perfectly heated and the pool was warm my only issue was the lack of towels in the pool room

Didn't spend much time here. Got in late. Slept, and had breakfast.

I have stayed here before and had a good experience The room had an awful smell when we arrived, I called and asked for solutions, they were fully booked so couldn't move my room, I asked for air freshener and I was told they would look for some, after about fifteen minutes I walked down to the front desk and said, I will save you a trip and the man at front desk said oh yea, I have some fabric refresher here is the bottle you can take it to the room. I did and it wasn't great but allowed us to fall asleep. also the mattress on the sleeper sofa needs to be replaced it was like lying on a metal rack.

Arrived at 5pm, did not get a room till 8pm. Completely threw off our plans for the rest of the night.

All staff was super friendly no matter what time on day we interacted with them! Rico’s sense of humor was the best and made checking in enjoyable and fun!

Great location. It’s in a townecenter so restaurants and shopping all within a 1-5 minute drive. IHOP and Aldi are right next door, along with Taco Bell, Costco, among some others in very close walking distance in the adjoining parking lot. Newer property with decent free breakfast with waffle maker, 3 cold cereals, hot oatmeal, muffins, bagels, toast, eggs, bacon, yogurt, milk, coffee, and teas. Nice dining room with plenty of seating. Indoor pool with a baby pool, fitness room. Very friendly staff. I like that suites are available with two separate bedrooms and a full kitchen with dishes, pots, pans, silverware and serving ware and dish washer. It’s so hard to find a hotel with two bedrooms with king sized beds. Beds were comfy. Free parking. We will stay again when we come back in August and beyond to visit our son. Thin ceiling and walls. You can hear walking and running easily overhead, and since it’s near the airport there were a few flights overnight. But it was worth it to have separate bedrooms with kings sized beds and such a nice room and other accommodations like free breakfast, indoor pool , fitness room, and nearby restaurants and shopping. The pricing was pretty reasonable for all we got.

The room was dirty. There were stains on the couch that were disgusting. There was what looked like vomit down the bathroom door.

Staff friendly, property cleanliness 2.5 stars, breakfast 3 stars. Picked this property specifically because had indoor pool and hot tub for getaway from freezing winter weekend break but pool dirty cool and leaking went to get in hot tub it was an ice plunge instead. Spoke with front desk who informed us it was out of order and stated they didn’t understand why management wouldn’t at least put up a sign to warn people. Next morning requested to speak to manager but was told she was in an interview and would call me but apparently to busy to reach out to offer any consideration for the deficiency in the property.

The staff was absolutely amazing! Very kind, helpful, and just all around great people! Room was clean. Thank you for a great stay!

Comfy beds, very kind staff The price of $350 just felt extremely high and someone threw up in the pool. I also reached out to customer service and was never contacted. I just wanted to have a conversation.

I have previously stayed at this location and had no complaints so I wanted to bring my kids to let them bring their new new year and experience peace before we moved into our new home. We were celebrating our new home and also taking it easy because my sister‘s death anniversary. What I experience was a very bad customer service experience and a worker who was under full intention to attack me and my children, and also have us removed from the hotel because he was having a bad night, even called the police who did not agree with him, but had to do their job and also offered to vouch for everything that I’m saying right now I will be escalating this matter legally because I also didn’t get my money back and was forced to leave. He harassed my children and came into my room without permission. It was a traumatizing experience for my children and myself and also a terrible way to bring in a new year after dealing with so much bad things this year. I will never return back this hotel. My children cried the whole way home, including my autistic son, who didn’t even understand what was going on and you’re making us leave at almost midnight in the middle of the night with nowhere to go. The staff and cleanliness, there was a lot of dust in our room and over the table where where you were supposed to eat and I cleaned it and did not complain
