Homewood Suites by Hilton Rochester/Greece, NY

Most of the staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast in the morning was very good. Having a kitchen was terrific as we stayed multiple days. The phone didn't work. When I went to call the front desk it was just dead. I didn't like that my credit card was charged $250 for some fee I still don't understand and was told it would be taken off upon checking out. I could see putting an authorization hold on the credit card but not actually charging the card. Then after checking out, it did not get credited. When I called the office to rectify the person told me that the charges "would just fall off." I said, "Nothing just falls off once it's charged. You have to issue a credit." Then I asked to talk to a manager, who was not present. It did get credited back to my account. But honestly, this was a problem when I have to spend time helping people do their jobs correctly, especially for a silly policy that punishes guests who actually do things correctly.

Front desk staff were professional and helpful. Noisy people outside in parking lot, nothing related to the hotel.

Overall 8/10. The property was great but when I arrived the room I originally ordered was not available. The staff was helpful, room clean and quiet facility. Parking there’s plenty and beautiful breakfast area.

Fairly clean room. Bathroom and vanity area floor had black mop streaks. Very spacious. We had 2 double beds in the bedroom and it was a huge room.

Good location off interstate. The pool was nice and looked to be well maintained. The staff was nice. It was a nice hotel, but we had just come from Vermont where our hotel was very homey and quaint and cozy, so the bright modern look was not that appealing, but that wasn't their fault. The coffee and hot water in the lobby were all cold so we were not able to enjoy it.

The room was wonderful and so clean! The bed was very comfortable and we had more than enough room to entertain our son and his girlfriend while we were visiting. The mounted TV. IT didn't seem to pull out too far from the wall so we had to tuck the curtains behind it so that it was visible by someone sleeping near the window

Staff was very nice. It could’ve been cleaner and some of the repairs look pretty awful. The pool was gross. It needed chlorine and getting in the bottom and side are starting to feel a bit slimey. I immediately got out. Rooms are not sound proof like the site says

We had a shower that leaked water under the sliding doors that couldn't be repaired. The front desk did offer us another room, but with all the gear we had and 2 service dogs, we stayed put.

Room, comfort, cleanliness, space in room, the bed was very comfortable, dinning area Wish was closer to Rte 90 but still was worth the drive

The room is very spacious and the property is very well maintained. The breakfast offered a good variety and a lot of efforts had been put to that daily breakfast. The room is well equipped and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights stay here with our two dogs. The lawn is clean and well maintained. We feel safe to walk our dogs around too.

The front desk employees were very nice. However the staff that does the breakfast was ok we asked if there was anymore eggs she gave us a look like we were disturbing her and when I ask her where was the ultensils she came out rude and sarcastic. They need more training on hospitality. So we took whatever was left mind you for three people was nothing and to be honest those eggs were horrible. The breakfast needs to be better.
