Quality Inn Rochester

The surroundings & neighborhood did not represent what we saw in the pictures of the booking. We did not feel safe to stay there in that atmosphere, even tho the price was good for the room, but nothing like other Quality Inn's that we've enjoyed before. A couple examples: We prefer second floor for security, but elevator was not working. Grandmother cannot do stairs. The toilet seat was smaller that the bowl, wierd. The view from our window was construction equipment and piled trash. Overall, it just did not feel comfortable given the unkept grounds. Even tho we booked non-refundable, we ended up not staying at all and fully regret that we did not take pictures. I think we were in shock. Wouldn't think that Booking.com would indorse this! Do we have any recourse?

The bed, pillows, and blankets were all very comfortable. We liked the look of the room. The complimentary breakfast was nice and saved us money from having to go out for breakfast. Plenty of parking in hotel parking lot. A big plus for having a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Not in the safest location.

Everything was Alright Bumpy Elevator

Relatively clean..a bit old in general but you get what u pay for.. Breakfast was lacking..waffles were good but bagels were mini sized. Seems not be in a very nice neighborhood..I would not walk around after dark.

The location to where we needed to be was good The room was fine, but door to room was like a prison cell door. It was horribly noisey from next door room & people in the lobby. It echoed all over! Called front desk a couple times & nothing was resolved. We were in town for a dance competition. Literally got back to the room at 11pm & left by 8 the next morning. Couldn't sleep until 3am due to noise level. Friends stayed in another room that had pot smokers next door along with a prostitute that visited the men in the room. Do not bring your children here! Awful level of people that stayed at this hotel!

The cleanliness

the outside of the building is very nice The bed sheets were extremely dirty, there were multiple beer bottles left behind the bed, and the garbage was overflowing and disgusting. On top of that, the staff was unprofessional and unhelpful. Overall, it was a terrible experience

Comfortable Coffee was very bad Did not offer to many choices for breakfast. The room had the. Ceiling paint pealing

Proximity to destination. Cleanliness was lacking, elevator was not working. Sheets on bed were dingy. Time for breakfast was 7, use to earlier breakfast times. Overall the hotel needs a lot of upkeep beyond the lobby. Too many electric car spots, not enough regular parking spaces.
