Clarion Hotel Detroit Metro Airport

The location was great. They lied in their listing. They offer breakfast on all the paperwork but refused us entry on the second day of staying here. The attitude of not caring doesn't help.

The beds are so comfy, compared to other hotels in the area it is fantastic.

This was the worst hotel I ever stayed in. In my entire life, I had company and they just said, what is this dump you in? There was a mix up and a misunderstanding for the breakfast. They have serving breakfast to certain people that stay in the hotel. They don't serve breakfast to all who stay. Didn't find that out until I got there, 6am woke up the next morning, when to Breakfast hungry and tired they didn't even offer a confirmation Buffett's. They didn't even care whether or not I had no money at that time or how long flight was canceled. The traveling they just gave no comfort at all. They were very thirsty for every item that you use in the hotel.

Good water pressure The rooms were not very clean and dated. I booked the room that said “breakfast included” clearly in the listing and they claimed it is a mistake on booking.com’s end - very rude about it and said the only way we could get breakfast would be to pay $15 each. How about you fix your listing on booking.com so it isn’t false advertising?

Comfortable, affordable, location, staff friendly , close to airport , clean, AC very good, shower, towel is perfect, coffee maker fridge…etc … perfect. -A lot of flys inside the hotel ! -The restaurant inside the hotel very poorly needs some improvements!

Clean and near stores. Breakfast was stated in the app as included for 2 but the staff said it wasn't. They didn't consider giving a complimentary one either. So if you're looking for a place with breakfast included through outside apps, you may be surprised.

The staff were nice and they rent their parking lot spaces for long term stays The entire facility was so dirty. I arrived very late to this hotel from a delayed flight and needed to get up within a couple hours to leave for the next leg of my trip otherwise I would have left and went to another hotel. It was so dirty from the visible water damage and bugs. I kept my luggage on the tile floors and made a makeshift bed in the bathroom. I should have booked the Holiday Inn across the street originally. For certain all of the other reviews stating the hotel is clean and nice are fake reviews for sure.

Convenient to airport. Great airport transportation! Quick breakfast was OK. Old and worn. Question safety regarding fireproof doors etc. Bathroom very bare bones and poor ventilation. Breakfast was included in our first night but we were told we didn’t qualify for it the second night. Don’t understand why but we weren’t going to argue about it.

For the price, everything more than met my expectations. Check in went smoothly, and all public areas were clean. My room was spacious and clean, and my bed was comfortable. The motel is located less than ten minutes from the Detroit Metro terminals. I didn't go to the bar or restaurant on site. I drove less than five minutes from the hotel to the Beirut Restaurant for Mediterranean cuisine. The prices there were very good and the food tasted delicious.

There was no wifi or internet/TV! There was no pool, I didn't have the accessible room. I wasn't notified in advance that there was no WIFI and I couldn't work! The front desk staff was very rude! They won't refund me, I paid in advance!

Location is close to the airport and has a shuttle service 24/7 - property kind of run down/old - will do in a pinch.

I paid for two rooms during a power outage for my family and withdrew money from their ATM to pay the deposits in cash to avoid them placing a hold on my card but the young lady chose to charge my card anyway as if it was a mistake. That was a week ago Ava my money is still being held. I called and the front desk took my number Ava’s said she’d call me back and I never heard back from her. Also when I went to get breakfast I was told to leave because I apparently was supposed to pay to have breakfast. Not even a continental smh. That’s fine I found out the embarrassing way.

I booked this room because it had a pool and was supposed to have free breakfast included. The pool wasn't open the 3days I was there and they switched my room at check in and all of a sudden breakfast was $15 per person. I was so unsatisfied with my stay.
