Del Mar Motel

Room was clean, parking was convenient, and staff were helpful.

I paid for the room in full when I booked the trip a month in advance but when I checked in the attendant said there's a $20 cash deposit. That makes no sense when the room has already been paid for. I did not pay the cash deposit. I think the attendant is scamming people for cash. But DO NOT book at this motel. There was no hot water from the shower and I had to kill a huge cockroach.

The room was dirty, and stain on the bed sheet. The floor felt like it was going to give out. I walk out as soon as I entered the room. Did not stay will not recommend. 20 cash deposit on check in as well

This is a stew that is good at the basics. The clean room, helpful staff good location, quiet, No Frills. Don’t come expecting a microwave or fridge in the room, this is not that place. And don’t expect free breakfast or anything like that as you were from some of the larger chain hotels. This is not that. But they’re pretty good at what they do, which is just give you a clean room and a nice day in a decent environment.

Great price, but no refrigerator in room and microwave is public near the vending machine. Not all rooms have bathtubs some are only showers with no shower curtains. Staff was helpful

The definition of the 2 star hotel. The price is good for the value. But there's definitely flaws that causes the price to the way it is.

Staff the males do not care about other humans. The lady cared a little bit. They didn't help me when they promised to get me a better room for the next day the water leaks no blow drier no laundry it sux

Was one of the worst motels I’ve stayed in. Room was quite dirty. There were burnt holes on almost all of the appliances, including the blankets graffiti on the drawers and an odd smell, the bed was broken and stains everywhere. Overall a bad experience I ended up leaving 40 minutes after checking in. Staff was also rude (which can be understandable working overnight) but that plus the horrible condition of the room overall made it feel unsafe and uncomfortable.

This is a two-story motel. The whole building shakes violently whenever anyone climbs the stairs, especially guests carrying luggage. It was a really unsettling experience.

The place and views were immaculate.

The housekeeping staff was great, very friendly. Now the not so good. The mini fridge didn't keep my items cold Now the bad. I wanted to check in a hour early. I had to pay $50 in cash and $20 in cash for parking. They have a sketchy atm, that charges $4. I went down the street to the bank.

I waited a long time to check in. Staff wasn’t there and I also waited a long time to check out and get my cash deposit. No one ever showed up so I left. The room smell like mildew.
