Motel 6 Rosemead, CA - Los Angeles

I took a taxi to this hotel , but they won't check me in because I came 1:39 min early,when I asked if I could leave my bags till the check time, they said no. Terrible management

II received my Degree in Hotel management in 1982. If you can stay elsewhere, do it! 1) despite being charged a $20 early check in fee, 11:00AM according to the policy, I was denied check in until 1:30pm. The room rate was higher because of the availability of a pool...2) despite the high temperatures this past week, the pool was out of order at least or 3-4 days. 3) the property was a mess with garbage everywhere. 4) the Handicapped Room bathroom flooded - extra floor towels were not available. The shower drain was loose - a hazard. 5) despite having turned in my used towels for replacements a few times, and replacements promised, they were none available for 4 days. 6) the bathroom had only one horizontal surfaces - the back of the toilet. The shelf over the sink was slanted & dislodged from the wall, as was the sink. 7) the TV went out. 8) no housekeeping. 9) there was no fridge for my insulin - I wasn't notified. 10) the bed was lumpy and VERY uncomfortable.

The hotel is closed to a shopping center and freeway. Safe location and walkable to the mall and restaurants. However I did have to wait a bit for a room. They didn't have a lower level room and going upstairs was a bit difficult with a suitcase.

They do not offer housekeeping. If you want fresh towels, you must take your dirty ones to the front office and request fresh ones. Im glad we brought our own blankets because the room was dusty and had a bad smell. My daughter walked from the beds to the restroom barefoot.. when she came back she jumped on the bed and her feet were black! The shower had mold. I went out and bought some bleach to clean the shower and toilet. I saw a housekeeper delivering towels our second day and asked her for 1. She said no and to go to the front. I wanted to leave but I had already paid for 2 nights. I will never stay at another motel 6.

Nik was amazing! It wasn’t bad for the night we stayed. Very family oriented and Dennys is walking distance. Room did smell allot like cigarette but be prepared to spray allot of Lysol. Other wise you only have outlets no usb chargers and is only a few so have an out let other wise no charging station.

Very clean room as always and nice staff. The sheriff department in front of our back doors rooms we pay with our money for privacy So I won't be coming again There was also dog shit on the floor around And they didn't change my blanket no room service
