Great location for events at All State arena.

No water in the room

Room was clean and spacious (K) with sitting area. Bath very spacious with separate vanity and bench-nice. Staff was nice including shuttle driver. Was able to store luggage before our room was ready while we got lunch.

building is outdated, with carpet stains, thin towels/linens, etc but staff was friendly and the free hotel shuttle was very convenient and easy to use/find. i would make two suggestions for improvement: 1) the shades in the rooms let light in on the sides; my room was facing a giant neon lit-up billboard so it let a lot of light in still; maybe curtains would help? and 2) the hvac unit and thermostat did not operate great as the supply air is located near the thermostat and the room felt much warmer than the T was reading; also the T had the option to turn the fan on low-med-high instead of "auto" clg/htg mode, but the fan would still turn off after 20 minutes or so. was super frustrating throughout the night as i wanted the white noise, especially being right by the highway with planes flying overhead. recommend either providing white noise machines or fixing this thermostat setting.

The breakfast could have been a little better.

Hotel was average, smells of smoke, pool has no ventilation and is a sweat box for the parents sitting watching their kids. Charge 4 bucks for water bottles that most hotels give for free. We booked a hotel shuttle for 5 AM, arrived at 4:45, shuttle was late and when it arrived we realized the hotel overbooked the shuttle. Ahmsed or whoever was behind the counter watching Spider-Man on his laptop said “sorry there’s nothing we can do”. We ended up having to pay $30 for an Uber, had to sprint through the airport, almost missed our flight. Terrible display of customer service. Would not recommend the hotel and definitely do not rely on the “complimentary airport shuttle” they advertise.

The AC was not cooling efficiently in my room. Breakfast could’ve been better.

If you are needing to Park and Stay or just want a hotel near O'Hara this your Place. Tucked nicely a mile away from O'Hara and with the curb appeal of a Teddy Graham Factory mixed with deep dish pizza, the smells will leave you asking "is this a real place I paid less than $200 for?" The beds are comfy, but the pillows make you want to slap a baby. However the Breakfast you have to stay for before a shuttle whisky you away to O'Hara and you forget the dumpster fire you are about to walk into before you see a 100 foot dinosaur. 4 stars

Room was clean and staff were helpful when checking in. The complimentary shuttle from and to the airport was timely and appreciated. Main downside was that there was no drinking water available in the room.

We got stuck in Chicago and had to find a place to stay last minute. It was easy to check in and it was close to the airport

Hyatt Place is one of my favorite hotels wherever I travel. This location is especially convenient.

Had to stay here at the last minute because my flight got canceled so I checked in around 11:30pm. The front desk person was not very welcoming terrible customer service. I asked about the airport shuttle he informed me I had to booked it early bc it fills up quickly and there’s only 14 spots on the shuttle. So I said I was going to book my flight soon as I got into my room. I called down to the front desk around 2am asked if it was full, he stated no just me but I would have to come down about 10min prior to the shuttle leaving which was 5am to sign up which i thought was strange and why couldn’t he just book me for the shuttle over the phone. So when it came time for me to take the shuttle he informed me it was full and I needed to call an uber very cold like. I was very upset bc it was important I caught my flight. When I asked him about our previous conversation he said he was confused and thought I had booked my flight which didn’t make sense. Turns out I had a ticket for the shuttle he never told me and I spent unnecessary money. I asked him to be clear with customer in the future. The room wasn’t bad but the customer service and $7 for 2 bottles of water is ridiculous.
