Sonesta Chicago O'Hare Airport Rosemont

The room was clean. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was not included in their booking, although I didn’t care too much for breakfast anyway. The property is obviously old, but could be better maintained, our hotel room ceiling had obvious water damage. Otherwise, decent place.

The staff was amazing. I got there earlier than check in time and the guy that was at the front desk allowed us to check in early. I wasn’t too thrilled about the food in the restaurant inside the hotel but that wasn’t really a problem with the hotel.

When traveling from Montreal to ORD we were delayed 6 hours. I booked this hotel based on three things: WiFi, proximity to ORD, and hotel shuttle. We didn’t get in until midnight, so we got a Lyft, and arrived is pouring rain to be swiftly checked in. Very nice room, very nice beds. We took the shuttle the next morning, fast, professional, good service. If I’m ever stranded at ORD (when, I guess, not if) I’ll book here. If ORD ever cleaned up their act I’m sure a few hotels would miss the surprise guests.

Very clean and comfortable rooms, with great views of either planes landing or of the airport itself. Full of amenities and with helpful staff, making this a great stay. Somewhat on the pricier side, but that comes with the territory of a hotel next to the airport, I suppose.

Excellent location and service

The AC (heater) did not work, Only fan worked but no heating. I felt colder.

Harry Carey’s restaurant was surprisingly great!! Rooms were clean and quiet. Also , right next to the rental car garage for O’Hare.

B) Use real glasses and cups - what is with all the plastic?? C) The restaurant doesn’t accept walk-ins so we had to eat in the bar. Ridiculous.

We were on the top floor and our room was large and had 10' ceilings, a broad view of the airport, and a comfy bed. We liked the room. The workout facility was good and the staff was friendly. The coffee maker in the market space next to the front desk made good coffee. The hotel and room were very clean. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because it claimed it had an EV charger. When we arrived, we discovered the EV charger was not functional. We brought this to the attention of the staff, but no one did anything about it. Had we known the charger was broken we likely would have chosen a different hotel. Nevertheless, across the road from the hotel are two large fast-charging facilities (Tesla and BP Pulse), each with 20-30 chargers. The staff would do well to point this out to guests looking to charge their vehicles. The workout facility was good but the equipment is in need of maintenance and repair.

One of the lighting sconces next to the bed was broken and barely hanging on the wall. First hotel I ever stayed in that had no in room safe.

The hotel was a great choice, for a late night arrival to Chicago. The airport shuttle arrived as expected. Staff were friendly and helpful, late night. The bed was very comfortable. We would stay here again for the ease and proximity to the airport. Clean and comfortable hotel.
