Hyatt House Sacramento/Midtown

Great Location, awesome lounge, comfortable and quiet rooms.

I love this beautifully maintaned and meticulously run hotel. I hate leaving this review because I wish I could keep this secret wonderful place to myself. I told my best friends and my sister. And now the world. They are superb. Restaurant and bar, the Starlight, was just that, perfection. The people were unbelievable and it rubs off on the guests. The room was fantastic. If Mary Poppins came to life and asked me for a referral on where to stay in Sacramento, it would be here. Magical.

Overall nice place but didn’t realize the only option was $40 valet for parking.

There was a surprise that parking was not included and cost $40.00 per night. That’s the only improvement needed. Give patrons free parking!!,

Clean room & the front greeter ignored me when I walked in (maybe because I was in hiking gear coming from Lake Tahoe) she talked to her co worker about a table and then after two minutes acknowledged me, also the front door was broken so I was locked out for a minute knocking and ringing a useless bell at the front door. Anyways I expressed my frustrations with the check in clerk process she apologized and I moved on and had a great experience. The area is decent I walked to a near by park and only seen a hand full of homeless. Still safe although I may choose a nicer part of the city if I’m ever in town.

The rooms were clean, the breakfasts yummy and the staff was helpful.

I liked the variety of choices for breakfast. Hot decaf coffee was good.

Such a cute place lived the view of Sutter Fort. Enjoyed the breakfast every morning. The lounge area where breakfast was served was a cool space. Friday night it got pretty loud in the street and the crowd around the hotel was a little more transient and rowdy.

We had a wonderful stay. Not only was the room great, the staff were amazing. Best customer service I have ever experienced in a hotel.

Great hotel. Highly recommend. Beautiful grounds. Was accosted by a Trump supporter in the dining room who was angry text he couldn’t touch my service animal. Proceeded to call me a litany of names. Very sad and pathetic. Other than that it was great.

Very nice hotel, and the star lounge makes a great dinner.
