Vagabond Inn Executive Sacramento Old Town

The property is right in the down town area of Sacremento. You can rent scooters everywhere you go to get around. It was a very convenient location to Discovery Park. The room didn’t feel very clean. We were staying for five nights for a music festival so the prices were astronomical compared to what was offered. We paid about $350+ a night which typically runs at about $109 without any special concerts going on. At the $109 price the hotel gives you what you are paying for.

The wifi in my room didn't work but everything was okay; I'll book again when I'm in the area.

Wash cloth was left on the shower head. The gap between the AC and the wall looks like it hadn’t been cleaned it years. It’s fine otherwise

Close to train station/ noise level high

It was just okay… if you need a convenient place to stay in Sacramento then it’s just okay. If you want to stay in an actual hotel then you have to find an actual hotel.

Exceptional

Not good water up to my ankles in tub floor needed to be swept mold on ceiling of bathroom I would not go there again

The location was great right across the street from Amtrak. Not satisfied for the breakfast just coffee and bagel. The Internet was horrible. If you really need to get work done or schoolwork you better make sure the Internet is working. Or make sure you have hotspot.

Maybe that it was close to the location I was going too It was very dirty. The sinks the bath tub toilet everything. I feel like they don't take care of the place. Super dirty and stained. The cabinets were old and it smelled. I felt so uncomfortable

They have free parking

Did not enjoy my stay here. First it is super close to highway so thats all you hear. The shower back up so it was clogged. Twice I had two random knock at my door late at night. Super sketchy people too always around. I would never stay here and regret it. Not worth the cheaper price.

I was disappointed pulling into the property. Very ran down, it’s basically a motel and for that price you can stay at an actual updated hotel. Only a plus is the rooms were clean.

Horrible

Location is excellent. Lots of parking spaces are available. Amtrak station is across the road. Only one bus stop from the airport. One draw back is very near to the highway. But the staff gave us a quiet room. So, we got a good sleep. I give full recommendation.

Internet not working

Location was great. Super close and walking distance to old town and doco. Staff are was very friendly. Neighbors on both sides were really loud. Yelling and slamming doors all night. Area seemed a little sketchy. The bed was comfy enough but only 3 pillows and not enough towels in our room.

Breakfast is a tad underwhelming, but otherwise the facility felt very safe and clean! Staff were friendly. Great spot for proximity to old town. Oh, please fix the hot tub jets 😁

Didn’t try breakfast, went out for it. Excellent location, close to convince stores, fast food n restaurants. Walkable to Old Sacramento, Historical Bridge, Sac River, Museums, A’s baseball park, downtown & State Capital. Plan on returning within 10 months. It was my oversite; should have requested the room on 1st or 2nd floor. The total satisfaction more than made up for my minor inconveniences.
