Delta King Hotel

All the staff was great. Front desk and karen, housekeeping. Dinner in the Pilot House room was wonderful. Pilot bar also was great. Only regret, was having some comfortable chairs to sit out on the Riverside of the boat and enjoy the view and weather.

Mom and daughter trip to a concert at the golden one center. Was able to walk from the train station to the hotel, and from the hotel to the stadium. Staff was wonderful. Room was great. Would definitely stay again.

It was nice and super convenient for Old Town Sacramento. They let us leave our luggage as we were there super early and got us into our room early as well. The rooms are small and not modern because it’s a literal boat. The AC didn’t cool our room very well but it was super hot out and I’m guess since it was a boat it wasn’t really set up to have AC. I would stay there again though as it was fun staying on a boat.

The service when getting a drink was kind of slow, so just don’t be in a hurry!

The pictures of rooms were a bit misleading and our room was smaller than we anticipated. The room had recently been cleaned which was great but the cleaner smell was so strong it made it difficult to sleep in the room that night. Unfortunately, there wasn't a window we could open.

The rooms are small and the ceiling low. The water pressure in the shower was among the very best!! It’s easy to imagine what the Delta King was like before when you learn of the previous uses. Very cool history. Never felt unsafe for any reason.

Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. They will take your bags to your room but you have to drag your body upstairs yourself. If your less then 65 and healthy , love American history, then this is the place for you.

We had a very enjoyable time staying on the Delta King. On a hot summer night in Sacramento, it was great to take advantage of a benefit only available to hotel guest, that is sitting outside on the deck overlooking the river and enjoying a bottle of wine along with other hotel guests.

Lots of personality Great location for fun and good times. Nice helpful staff Clean rooms.

Such a cool place to stay!

Our room was clean, cozy and historical features were charming! Breakfast was delicious and delicious the server was very gracious. We loved the ambience and view! We will be back!

The location is great, you’re close to everything including the A’s games, the state capital building and of course Old Sac. The room was very small, and there are no elevators so as long as you know that going in the rest is great. When I say the rooms are small, it’s butts-to-nuts small. Pack lightly and suck it in when squeezing through the one ft gap at the end of the bed. The toilet flushing is also very loud so my tip is if it’s yellow let it mellow or use the provided ear plugs

Historic ferry stay in small room. Ferry docked on Sacramento River in old town. Room and bath were plenty big for two of us. Quaint and comfortable. Walking distance to ballpark. Will stay again and visit railroad museum.

I’m not sure how this place rates an 8.8/10. The room I got was MUCH smaller than what’s shown in the photos. The photos are not representative at all. There’s no room for luggage let alone a desk as shown in the photos. The bathroom is ridiculously small. The floor sloped so much that my wife and I both ended up on the downhill side of the bed in the morning. Delta King (2 star) Motel would be a more appropriate name. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

Room was very clean and was a short walk to everything we wanted to access. The breakfast was delicious and very convenient.

My husband uses a walker. Although he does not require full ADA accommodations, doorways to state room are narrow enough that the walker must be folded to fit in. Each doorway also has a threshold. Otherwise visit was great, food was fantastic, views from bow were awesome while relaxing with a drink or snack. Be sure to not miss the extremely well done, mini museum when you take the elevator down from the third deck to the second deck! This surprising find was a highlight of our stay!

The environment and serenity of the place was ok for me, just it didnt suit the purpose for my stay. If you are going on a relaxing vacation, then this might be a place for you.
