This is a very nice property for its rating and price point. Would stay again .

Everything was great. The only issue was parking. I feel if I am paying quite a bit of money to stay for 1 night in your hotel O should be able to park at your hotel.

Stellar service!
-
It’s the extra cost for parking service, they only offer valet so you take It or leave it, The pool was indoor but the amount of chlorine and the cloudy water was a big turn off. The heat was so bad and not being able to use the pool was a real turn off. The second night we could hear so much noise from the A/C unit very little rest. Last the bed was very hard.

Hotel was so nice and clean, lots of great amenities. Did have some issues with service but overall was a good place.

Besides our room keys resetting every couple of hours and having to go get them recalibrated at the front desk. Getting locked out of our room for a couple of hours because the system went down and also having to get evacuated the stay wasn’t bad. 🙄
-
The system was down upon checkin so the line was long. But the staff managed it well. Amenities, room and the whole hotel were well maintained. Breakfast was good as always.
-
Check-in was a disaster and no communication why (other impatient guest explained the computers were having problems). And the next day, the fire alarms went off and caused an evacuation but no signs of any real reason for it. And again a complete lack of communication. It's also the smallest "queen" size beds I've ever seen, and the tiniest indoor pool I've ever seen at an Embassy Suites. Great location if you're wanting to be in Old Town Sac, or if you're in town for a baseball game, but not the standard expected from Embassy Suites.

Front desk staff were on their phones ignoring me standing right in front of them for a while during both check in and check out, different people.

The biggest issue was with room keys. We had multiple instances where our keys stopped working and had to be reprogrammed, which was frustrating throughout the weekend. The most concerning incident was that our room was apparently double-booked. While the bride and I were getting ready, another guest was able to unlock and walk into our room with a valid key because he had been assigned the same room. Thankfully, everyone remained calm, but this was a serious privacy and security issue that should never happen. We also reserved a private room for a sound bath, but when we arrived, the space wasn’t listed correctly in the hotel’s system. We had to wait while staff figured out where the reservation was. In the bride and groom’s suite, the bed sheets were stained upon arrival. To the hotel’s credit, staff responded promptly and replaced the bedding after we brought it to their attention. The staff members we interacted with were generally courteous and did their best to help when problems arose. However, the number of issues we encountered over the course of one weekend made what should have been a fun celebration much more stressful than necessary. I hope the hotel addresses these operational and communication issues so future guests can have the experience they expect.

Nice property, clean rooms. Excellent location right next to the bridge and Old Sac. Walking distance to Sutter Park, very convenient if you’re there for a game. The rooms are spacious, perfect for a family. The free breakfast is really good (there’s even an omelette bar!). The interior of the hotel is stunning with the lofty glass ceiling and fountain. A couple downsides: the door between rooms lets through a lot of noise. Little kids were staying next door, and we could easily hear them. We tried piling up pillows in front of the door to cancel the noise, but it was no use. Also, the price for parking is pretty steep at 47 a day (as of Jul 2026).
